Had the most lovely evening last night. Which was a good job as yesterday was a *busy* annoying day.

We picked up the in-laws and went for a drive and a drink at a pub at South Shields. It was right on the beach and we could watch as Corey dug holes in the sand. I found out again that mother-in-law can be totally embarrassing when she started admiring this muscley guy that walked past. Now there's nothing wrong with that except she's got a *loud* voice and he could hear every word that she said. Then we dropped them off and James, Corey and I drove to Roker beach. We bought some chips, and I had garlic mayonnaise and parked right on the slip way and had a late night picnic. It was a gorgeous night, all the boats were coming home, there was a live band playing in a pub along the street and we could hear them and the people dancing outside. There were quite a few people on the beach and we didn't leave until about midnight. So yesterday I was only online enough to make a quick LJ entry and that was it. I bet poor Blue2 didn't know what was wrong *g*

Today Corey and I have been tidying the garden. We set the hose up and just tidied *everything* of course it was amazing how often I was 'accidently' squirted with the hose *g* But the garden's looking great, just letting everything dry then we'll finish off. We had fun though playing with the water, especially when we were watching a slug and Corey told me they had testicles on their head *g*

Now I'm going to check my mail and friends list for an hour, then I'm thinking BBQ for later.

I've just been reading [livejournal.com profile] castalie LJ which mentioned clowns and have a question.

Does anyone actually *like* clowns?

I think they're evil creepy things and can't believe that they're aimed at children, and a lot of people seem to agree. So anyone like them?
