It feels like everything possible has already been written and that makes it so very challenging to dive into (as the half a dozen stalled fics on my 'puter will attest to)

It really is a challenge. I only posted my MCR story because I got hit by inspiratuon and just wrote. If I actually sit and think about plotting a story, I end up thinking about how many are out there anyway, and get a little intimidated.

That's a wonderful offer, and one I'll take you up on for sure. Region 1 is fine as I bought a multi-region dvd player for the reason you did, cheaper DVDs.
