I had a good lympth appointment today. 1ltr of excess fluid gone from each leg and inches in measurements in some places. I was hoping I'd get some new knee high compressions as one of mine keeps slipping, but apparently I was borderline in terms of losing so much fluid I could have a new prescription, so I have skin glue instead and an appointment for another three months, where he assured me I will need, and will get, new ones.

I got a taxi there this time as both James and Kayleigh were at work -- though James did pick me up. Next time though I think I will take the two buses and walk after because ouch, £15 for one journey is a bit steep.

I got to the market yesterday, I didn't buy anything but enjoyed the festive atmosphere and went to see Fenwick's window after. Fenwicks is a big department store and every year they have a fantastic window display. This year it's The Snowman themed, but what I like most is the Greggs opposite has flipped its main sign around, so when people inevitably take pictures of the window, the Greggs logo is reflected the right way around. I think that's great, and fantastic marketing that cost nothing but the flipped sign.

You're making fantastic progress, go you!

Yeah, taxis are very convenient but horribly expensive.

Enjoying the atmosphere is the best thing about holiday markets! I love when shops continue traditions like that. There's a big deparment store in Stockholm that has had these fantastic holiday window displays for over a hundred years. That is such a fun thing about the shop opposite! I wonder who came up with the idea. So simple and effective.
