Day 10
Create a fanwork. Leave a comment in this post saying you did it. Include a link to your post if you feel comfortable doing so.
I knew this would be coming at some point in the challenge, but I was hoping it would be on a day I wasn't busy. Alas, that wasn't to be.
However, I can still post my response and the loss of picfor1000 this year means I've a counting words space empty in my life, so -- give me a pairing or character and prompt and I'll write you a drabble. By which I mean the old meaning of a drabble which is something exactly 100 words long.
Any fandom as long as I actually know it.
Because I am busy responses won't be immediate, but I will get to them asap.

“They can’t stay.”
Ryan holds out a feather, dangling it in front of a ginger-striped cat.
“They’ll get out.”
Ryan smiles when the cat jumps, the black cat on his lap arching its back in response. “We’ll shut the door.”
Spencer sighs.“We’re in and out of the bus all the time.”
Ryan shrugs, wiggling his feet when a one-eyed tabby chews at his laces. “I’ll make a sign.”
Spencer shakes his head. “Saying what? A crazy cat-man lives here? You can’t keep them.”
Eyes downcast Ryan says nothing. Then, “They’ve nowhere else to go.”
Spencer knows that he’s lost.

You know that he'll go out and buy cat bowls and treats and secretly leave them by Ryan's bunk. Ryan, of course, knows exactly who's leaving all of these things. Not that he ever says so. Or says that he's got hundreds of photos of Spencer fast asleep in his bunk, multiple cats sleeping beside him.
Thank you for such a lovely prompt.

This is so cute - I love the story that you've built in these few words (and Ryan totally would, including the guilting of Spencer ;))

I'm sure Ryan knew how to wrap Spencer around his little finger.
Thank you!
