I knew this would be coming at some point in the challenge, but I was hoping it would be on a day I wasn't busy. Alas, that wasn't to be.

However, I can still post my response and the loss of picfor1000 this year means I've a counting words space empty in my life, so -- give me a pairing or character and prompt and I'll write you a drabble. By which I mean the old meaning of a drabble which is something exactly 100 words long.

Any fandom as long as I actually know it.

Because I am busy responses won't be immediate, but I will get to them asap.

Oh, I love this! Lime-green laces, absolutely that's what Pete would have. And they're not so young anymore but they're still them and still so connected. The image of Pete's hand in Mikey's hair is lovely. Also this is kind of tangential but the inside of my head is blaring "Cinderella sweeping up on Desolation Row" right now. Thank you so much!! <3

I'm so glad that you like this. I do like the idea of them growing older together, not so wild, but connected and always close friends.
