I always thought that TV shows would only stop if the Queen died, so when it happened yesterday I thought something had happened to her and not Prince Philip. When I checked all the mainstream domestic channels had stopped for the news, though C4 went back to regular programming pretty quick.

Yeah, I figure if the house is going to be disrupted anyway I may as well get the painting done at the same time. I still can't say I'm looking forward to that whole period, though.
