The recipe I saw reminds me a lot of the oven pancake I make. Do you put anything on them?

Normally no. Mostly people make small ones that get put onto a roast dinner, or if they want to be fancy, big versions that you can put the dinner inside. But, I do know someone people who eat them as desserts with jam on, though have never tried that myself.
