I was at the gym this morning using the lat pull down machine that's in the free weight section. I'd done two reps when one of the muscle guys came over and said he'd noticed I was using a narrow grip, and he thought a different attachment would work better for me.
So he found this different attachment, changed it for me, and showed me how to use it, and yeah, it felt much better. He went away, then came back and said he thought using it the other way would be even better, so did the change again, made sure the bar was braced over my lap properly, corrected how I was holding, and again, I knew what he meant about a more comfortable grip.
But man, between the sets I'd already done and then the ones I did with the new attachment, my shoulders were feeling it.
I had a quick talk with him and another lady afterwards about how there really should be a staff member actually in the main gym to do things like this. As it is, you had to do an induction, which consists of watching some videos on the app about the main machines, and one staff member walks around every half an hour or so checking the bins and that the antibacterial wipes are fully stocked, but other than that, like I told them, it feels very much like you're thrown in the deep end and expected to swim.
Between that helpful guy, nodding hello to some regulars, the woman from class who goes there, and Corey's old reception teacher, who greeted me by name despite Corey leaving that school nearly 19 years ago. It feels like being invisible may be impossible.

Fun House
Journaling: What is making you smile these days? Create a top 10 list of anything you want to talk about.
Creative: Write from the perspective of a house or other location.
These guys, MCR! I've been enjoying watching footage and seeing new photos from their concert so much. My love isn't as intense as it was in my height of bandom days, but it's still there, and I still think Mikey is hot like fire.
Seeing him with his bro, how happy he looked throughout that surreal, weird and yet awesome show, well it made me smile, too. Also, comments from Gabe and Travis on Mikey's Insta post, it was like being thrown back in time in the best way.
So, lets go old skool and have a top ten plus four picspam.
