I dunno, but at the place that hosts my website, I occasionally have problems with different stuff--not just "the whole thing goes down" (well, that happens sometimes, too), but the admin tool doesn't work, or I can't ftp even though everything else works.

If you've rebooted your PC and stopped and restarted your modem and router and none of that helps, I say put in a help ticket with your web host--they may have changed something or upgraded something that's causing your issue.
