I can't believe that it's Wednesday already. This week has been full of stuff, bad good and mostly boring. Our re mortgage went belly up which is annoying as hell. They'd messed us around for so long I snapped and refused to sign another thing, especially when they were saying we'd need another survey of the house to get things moving and just no. The reason the last survey was out of date was because of their incompetence so we told them to forget it. It was the Cubs AGM one night where Corey was presented with his first activity badges and both James and I had doctors appointments yesterday. I'm fine but he was diagnosed with sciatica which is why he's been having pain in his leg. Sadly it was his real one too ;)

Sunday was most fantastic as we spent the day with the lovely [livejournal.com profile] interlock We actually got to Whitby early so went for a walk along the pier first before meeting up. Of course I had butterflies because I'm a sap but they were soon swept away with the fist hug. We had a lovely day of chat as we looked at shops, ate, drank and watched the goths v locals football game. We discussed the sdbs, stories, what we're writing and reading, especially [livejournal.com profile] absinthe_makes and the soap opera that is Sucker. Yes, we talked about Sucker as the football match was played outside, sometimes I really enjoy my life :)

I just wish I'd found Justin's chocolate shop before this healthy eating thing because the things they have in there, it's enough to make you want to lick the window, really it is. Chocolate coffins and cannonballs which are nothing but thick chocolate surrounding alcohol soaked raisins and other good stuff. Fudge and toffee and chocolate. Mmmmm.

I did do a small Lance ficlet thing for [livejournal.com profile] sky_pie which was interesting. I have the hardest time finding Lance's voice, he's so tricky and it's so easy to fall into stereotypes. Of course that goes for them all. Have I ever mentioned how much I hate the pretty kitty JC thing? Because I do, so so much. You should also all go see [livejournal.com profile] xoverau's Backstreet Boys fic challenge because I need people to write lots of Kevin/Nick. Or you know if you're insane and don't know any better you like other pairings that's fine too. Go, write like the wind and spread the Backstreet goodness around.

Now I'm off to find a codec for Numb3rs, this no picture thing is getting old now.

ETA: The typo stays, you all know I have a dirty mind anyway ;)

It's so damn annoying. He's so much more than that and seeing stories just with pretty kitty JC make me back out so fast.

Hm. I wonder if that's why I don't particularly like JC: the stories I've tried have been of the JC-the-pretty-kitty variety and he doesn't work with either Lance or Chris (my major Nsync obsessions). Which stories should I read if I want to see other JCs - preferably paired with Chris or Lance or a Backstreet boy (and absolutely *not* Justin)?

PS I hope things work out allright for you in the end. Mortgage problems *and* illness at the same time must be awful.

There is an awesome JC/Chris archive here (http://www.infinitepassions.com/jcchrisarchive/), which you should check out. Wonderful stories and really tough to pick just one. Wander around, you won't regret it, I promise :-)

Lots of stories there, now I know what I'm going to do this weekend. Thank you.

The archive that Eva gave you is a great start for the trickc, have you been to the bassez archive which is here (http://www.a-thousand-words.org/twoofus/) and the cross over archive which will give you some great BSB cross overs is here (http://www.juppy.org/where/).

That should be a good start for you and a lot to take in so I'll hold off on individual recs for you. I'm more than willing to give some if you still want them later though.

Thank you. It is pretty tough right now but we'll get past it, we always do.

Bookmarked the the bassez one - more to look at over the weekend. And the link to juppy.org reminded me that I should take a look at the SeSa archive without my trickyfish glasses on. (I really have to overcome this feeling I have that reading about Lance and/or Chris with someone else than each other is just plain wrong ;-)

Thank you for the offer, I'll keep it in mind.

Did I hear right? Did you just give out the url to the Bassez archive?

Yes I did!

And I was crying every second it took to type out the url ;)

Well maybe not crying as such but there was a tear, a very tiny one, well hidden *g*
