First, happy belated birthday to [livejournal.com profile] crownzeal. I hope you had a most fantastic birthday.

Second. Does anyone have a text copy of Talliswood they can send my way? I want to load it onto Jordan but copying nearly 200 parts is something I don't really want to do if someone else already has it. I'm lazy I know. Thank you [livejournal.com profile] chrismm

Corey was at cub camp all this weekend. I did have online plans for while he was gone but they didn't happen and instead James and I spent the weekend together with early nights in front of the fans, because damn but it's hot. Corey had a blast and came home really dirty. Apparently he fell in the mud from the assault course. Add in the night hikes and the camping and it was a recipe for dirt. But the good things about little boys are they wash so it didn't take long to get him squeaky clean again. Sadly the same can't be said of his socks which are good for nothing but the bin now *g*

James and I did a bootsale yesterday with the in laws which was interesting. I spent most of the time entertaining my niece as we chilled in the back of the car eating plums and drawing as she covered me in sun protection at least seven times. I had to laugh when we were waiting to get into the sale. I'd taken Jordan and thought I'd try and sneak a read, of course that didn't happen as James had to tell his mam what it was. At which point she said I should try and sell some of my stories to the magazines. I was like what!? double taking mentally while cringing inside. I don't think so somehow.

I've spent a lot of time reading this weekend, lounging on the bed where it's cool. I've just finished Book of Secrets and as a result my trickc love is mega high. Not that it's never not high, just now it's higher still. So much love for them. They make me want to dance the dance of trickc joy, except it's too hot and I couldn't anyway. I'll just imagine doing so.

I'm still all EEEEEEE!!! about Dr Who. Oh 9 and Captain Jack. How much do I love you? A lot is the answer.

To end, this is the haiku I was given.

say about the juc
i'm nearly caught up on you
all by i don't read

It was, thank you!

I've been meaning to catch the new Dr. Who's. They're one of the hottest bittorrent dl's, by far!

I immediately visualised you in front of thousands of fans all waving their hands to cool you, much more entertaining than the electric variety :-)

Chris purred as JC petted him, stroking over his felt in a circular motion. It felt so good and for a second Chris wished this would never end, because JC seemed to like his puppet self so much more. The thought made him twitch and all he wanted was to get away from JC right now, but JC tightened his hold on him.

"Sshhhh..." JC murmured, "just let me hold you."

Chris sighed, but he snuggled closer, his heart breaking a tiny bit.

Sorry, it was supposed to be a bit happier. :-/

I have Talliswood in Word (courtesy [livejournal.com profile] hammerhead22, as I recall)--will that do? I'll go ahead and email it anyway, since I may be at work by the time you get back, and despite the fact that it's over 300 pages, the file itself isn't that big...

If you get that text copy of Talliswood from somebody, could you send it my way?

ps. Love your juc poem madly. Who wrote it?

Bwahahahahahaha! Well, it's a nice idea. I'd buy that magazine, for sure. ;)

I remember girl scout camps, and how dirty I was when I came home. loved every minute of getting dirty too! oh how the times have changed... *g*

and man, isn't it sad the that broader public doesn't see the beauty of boy on boy?

TrickC, YAY!!!

So, did you finish my stuff? *looks for comments*

And there's some epic thing I bookmarked somewhere that's both TrickC & Bassenbaum, but it's not done yet, so I thiiink I'm saving it for after Absinthe ends, but we'll see...
