Man, I'm done. I've read all the MtYG stories, read and found something nice to say about them all. I didn't think I'd do it, but with a last intensive fic reading session. I'm done.

There's some amazing stories on there, ones that I've loved a lot, and just wow, our fandom has some talented writers. And tomorrow we get to know the authors, which is always fun. Not that I've made any guesses, because I suck at guessing.

So, that's all I've been doing the last few days really. Reading, watching Without a Trace episodes and doing boring rl stuff. Nothing exciting at all. Just easy and happy and relaxed. Well, apart from this morning.

This morning was a disaster zone. We were changing the fish tank water, and I had a bucket full of dirty water when the handle snapped, and the water soaked everything. The carpet, the couch back, me. Then the cats decided to have a chase around the kitchen, and sent the glasses smashing to the floor. Add in one of our sharks that died, me getting my foot stuck in the handles of a carrier bag and nearly face planting to the floor, and man, I was pleased to get out and go grocery shopping.

Also today, Corey went out to a nearby town with two friends. It was his first time going alone to just hang out, and you know I kept calling to make sure he was okay. But he came back, proud that they'd bought dinner for themselves at Asda, and he'd bought me a candle as an unexpected gift. So all was well, except my baby is off doing grown up things.

What else? I got Criminal Minds season one for Christmas, so I have spare burned discs if anyone would like them. I'll happily send them to anyone that wants to see the show, or have their own copies of the first season. If that prompts happy Morgan/Reid fic, all the better ;)

Last thing, happy belated birthday to two lovely ladies. [livejournal.com profile] llumi and [livejournal.com profile] marrymehowie I hope you both had wonderful days. You know, Jo was the only person to feedback my very first Nsync fic way back in the day. You can all blame her for me sticking around *g*

Some people just have no taste. Sad, really. Silly Jo. Hope she learned her lesson.

All 82 stories AND FB? You ROCK like a rocking thing!

Some talented person should make you all special banners or icons for Reading AND sending FB to every story!

*poke poke poke* still prodding you for your recs list *poke poke poke*

Corey's soon a teenager. Be afraid. Be very afraid! :-)

Wow, go you! I managed to feedback 54. 50 was my goal, so I'm happy. :)

And I've had such a good time reading!

Thank you for the wishes and I'll take all the blame. Especially when it comes to your fic.

Are you sure you don't have a poltergeist? Maybe you need to have the place exorcised. Or, you know, have Sam and Dean give it a thorough going-over ;-)

And, aww. Corey is getting so grown up. It won't be long before he'll be refusing to come along when you're seeing fannish peeps because we'll be OMG his mum's lame old friends. :-) But in the meantime, that was so sweet, bringing you a candle.

Awesome props for finishing and feedback all the stories. I've only read a dozen or so, I think, but tonight is the first night that I've a) had time and b) been able to face opening up the MtYG site again. By Christmas Eve I was like, NEVER SHOW ME A SESA STORY EVER AGAIN. Now, of course, the reveals coming up and I'm getting excited by the idea of doing it all again next year. I think I have some kind of SeSa-related memory disorder.

{pokes you}

(Not for recs. It just sounded like fun.)

{pokes again}

You made it through them all and fb'd them too? Way to go, Terri! My brain fizzled out after 42 of them, add in that Mom is home and lurking around all the time, it made for difficult reading.

Corey growing up. Awwww.

Eeek, sounds like the morning from heck. I probably would have thrown up my hands and gone to hide in bed til Sunday. lol.
