This is an absolutely lovely piece of writing. You've packed so much rich detail into each snippet - it makes each memory sparkle and feel absolutely real. The lush descriptions balance the sparse dialogue [which is awesome and seems very in character to me]. I love how you've sketched out the relationships here - how layered and complex Mikey and Gerard's relationship is, how the other relatioships spin out from that core - and I really love your Mikey.
