How gorgeous! I really like how the sections are not tied together in any overt way, but together they form a sequence, an arc, a whole. And I love how you portray Mikey's feelings towards Gerard, love and hero worship and an undertone of of sexuality. The image of Mikey fitting his hand into where Gerard's was on the apple is really powerful, both as emulation of the big brother he idolizes and as a symbol of attraction. And also how the Pete section combines Mikey actually having a quasi-healthy relationship with someone else, with his oversharing of his sex life with Gerard. (And Pete with his foot sideways! that detail is *so* Pete, I love it.) And just the general sense that they've both come through these immense roller coaster experiences and can still be together, can feel and express this love for each other, that's so marvelous.
