One of my neighbours just knocked at the front door. I answered and she sort of looked as if she didn't know what to say, then said that she knew things had been rough for us lately and if she could do anything, just ask. And just, what the hell? I don't know what she's heard but she's way off base. I didn't know what the heck to say, because I'm grateful that she came, but also a little boggled about why.
Yesterday James parked up in the garage, got out, locked the door using two brand new padlocks, then realised he'd left the padlock keys in the car. A few hours, a friend, and some bolt cutters later, and the door could finally be opened again.
All you can do is laugh, because it's so ridiculous.
Also yesterday I finally paid my Camp Sparkle deposit, thank goodness. It was looking dicey that I could actually afford to go for a while, but we've managed.
Thanks towistfuljane and her amazingly clear instructions, I installed del.icio.us glue yesterday, and the first digest has just been delivered to my journal. Which makes me insanely pleased at having made the thing work. It means I can just tag any newsletter stuff onto del.icio.is, and then pull all seven posts together on a Monday.
Del.icio.us really is such a cool thing, and I'll admit upfront I have glee when I see any of my stories saved on there, geeking out over the nice comments.
There were some amazing prompts left for the Chris month ficlet prompts. I swear, people picked people that were guaranteed to make me flail in a most frenzied way. Either through total OMG SQUEE! or a OMG WTF!? way. I suspect a lot may be gen, because some of them the thought of actual kissage going on is enough to make me just sit and drool, and that won't achieve anything! Well it would make me happy, but still. Drooling people! Don't make me need to keep a hankie on my desk. But yes, lots of bandom crosses, and crimeshow crosses but a distinct lack of BSB crosses. This saddens me. Where is the Chris/Kevin love? Doluxshine and I have to flag that flag alone?
Why is no one updating? Fine, I'll entertain myself.

Fabulous pics, all of them! I've had mcr-pic.com bookmarked for ages and I STILL haven't taken the time to explore it properly! I think I spend too much time reading fic :-)
