Happy Mother's Day to all you moms out there. You're all amazing, and I'm so lucky to know such fantastic women. Even if it's not your official day, know I think you're fab, and you should do something for yourself. Something indulgent that makes you happy.

Happy birthday wishes go to [livejournal.com profile] sid. I'm not sure if you hang around LJ anymore, but I hope you're having a good day.

Last night, for the first time in forever, I stayed up until the early hours reading fic. The sun was up when I finally went to bed, but of course little more than two hours later one of the cats decided the only place they could lie was on my head, and Tex was barking to go out and everyone in the world decided Sunday morning was the perfect time to phone.

Send coffee. Send pretty boys to make me coffee.

So tired omg.

Before I go, I'd like to bring your attention to [livejournal.com profile] popcomm_pip. A community that's trying to gather active popslash links. It looks like it could be something very cool.

Thank you :)

Well, I re-read the MX that Josh wrote for me. Then a rash of Panic fic that was so bad it was amazing. Then moved onto Nightswimming by [livejournal.com profile] wax_jism. I hadn't read it before because Gerard/Frank isn't really a pairing I search out, but it's so damn good, and has a Pete/Mikey back story and just. Glee! I need to finish reading that later today because it's amazingly long and I needed some sleep at least.

I think a nap will happen soon though.

I've had Nightswimming memorised since she posted it but there's been so much going on the last few months I haven't had the mental energy to tackle a long, serious fic like that.

Yeah, you need a good chunk of time to devote to the story. But man, it's worth it. It's one of the best stories I've read for a long time.
