Happy birthday for yesterday to the most awesome [livejournal.com profile] randomling. You're one amazing person, and I'm so glad I got to see that in person. *smooch* Also, a very happy birthday for today to [livejournal.com profile] bououou You're one heck of a guy and I hope today is fantastic for you.

I had such a lovely day yesterday. First I got to sleep in to half ten, then we went to see nanna and sat in the garden with her, dad and my uncle. Good news there was dad has got the bungalow he's been after, which will make such a difference to him. Then we drove to the coast, stopped at Morrisons and bought spicy chicken pasta, crusty seed topped buns and a bottle of pop, and went and had a picnic on the cliff tops overlooking the ocean.

From there we drove to another beach and people watched on the promenade as Corey played on the sand, then back to mam's, then home where we did some gardening and laid down seeds for the new lawn.

The only bad thing was I managed to give myself one heck of a sunburn, I'm talking JC Challenge colour here. Which. Ouch. Still, much aftersun was applied ( my aftersun is a kids kind complete with glitter. I shine! ) and a cool shower helped, as did reading Big Bang stories on Jordan in front of the fan.

In conclusion, a Sunday of win.

It sounds like an absolutely fabulous Sunday! The sunburn sounds very painful though, I hope you're not feeling it too much today.

Big Bang stories, mmmmmmm.... Which has you read so far? I'm thinking of saving [livejournal.com profile] bexless until she's finished the two sequels, or if the weather gets properly cool I might be in the mood to tackle it as it is.

It was the best kind of day. It's hurting today, but nothing some pain killers can't take care of.

I've been reading the BB stories as they've been posted, which means so far I've only read [livejournal.com profile] airgiodslv's Behind the Sea. Which I loved a lot, and must feedback because I read on my pocket PC. I would have read more but had the Waycest tentacle sex story to read first, which was awesome too.

Though my plan was failed miserably when I've just noticed a Mikey/Frank be posted. No way can I wait!

But I'm really looking forward to getting stuck into [livejournal.com profile] bexless's story too. From the comments I've seen it's fantastic.

Behind the Sea was so much fun - deep sea adventures and scientists and banter, wheeee!! I could never have read it for the first time offline though, I had to wiki all the animals and places :-)

Goodbye to your great plan, have fun reading Mikey/Frank ;-)
