(no subject)
I'm feeling very happy today, had a long sleep in until 11, then found my new icon in the in-box. The sun is shining, autumn is coming ( my favourite season) and I'm alone in the house so I'm surfing happily. Just read a fantastic TrickC that
kittiec recced ( that made me cry but in a good way. I was sad but it was a sadness due to a good story)and now I'm writing.
I'm not in the mood to tackle the depression that's The End so I'm writing more Trickyfish which is a much more light hearted story, well so far. All my stories have turned pretty bleak lately. If the trend continues this story might end up with Lance cheating on Chris with a woman then kicking him out of their house in the rain with his belongings strewn about him. Hey...plot bunny attack...no kidding ;)
I'm still not sure if I'm writing right in terms of *nsync stories. I'm feeling the loss of an alpha reader who reads my work as it's in progress. Castalie does it for me in TS, keeps me on track even before my stuff gets to the beta, and Jenny does the same in MX. Just someone to say, 'he wouldn't really do that' or 'are you insane?' I might just post the bits in my LJ and if they're too bad I'll wait for the bad comments *g*
My mam came down last night and told me if she had her way she'd destroy every computer in the world and what did I do sitting there all the time. She kept staring as I was writing wanting to know what I found to talk about to my friends that took so long. I wouldn't mind but at the time it was 9:30, James was watching a film I didn't want to see, Corey was drawing and there was nothing needing doing. I can't see the difference between sitting reading a book on the couch or sitting at my computer. She's nuts I tell you.
I posted an alternate Friday 5 privately by mistake last night. So it's here
Does anyone know who actually starts these things? Is there a website where you pick a 5 or do they just start from nowhere?
Now, I'm going to have a coffee, and surf some more. Wonderful afternoon :)
