Potatoes are really easy to do - did you plant any this year? We never do what the experts say at all, and we always get loads. Forget about trenches and mounds - just poke a hole in the soil and bung one in, then cover it up! Leave about a handswidth between each one. Onions and beans are also very easy - they more or less grow themselves!

Nope, no potatoes this year but we want to, especially after reading how you do it. I like stuff that grows itself. Plus, the thought of digging up potatoes is amazing.
