Twitter is saying that My Chem's album has leaked. Checking Google a lot of the torrent sites have Murderer (2010) listed, but with no seeds or leechers. So right now I'm sticking to being dubious.

But what is true fact is all the MCR love going around my flist lately. I love it so much! And you know what would boost that love to the heavens? If Mikey does his duty and turns up with Gerard this weekend. I'm 99% sure he will and if so I want pictures. Lots of pictures.

ETA: Alicia is going to be there. I'm moving that figure up to 100%.

I just, I really WANT to buy this damn album, you know? I want to email them and say MY DISPOSABLE INCOME, LET ME SHOWS IT TO YOU! GIVE ME ALBUM! but I just don't know if my principles would let me ignore the album if it showed up early. I'd still buy it! But...maybe Gerard would be sad. You know he's got a ~plan for the album release. [grins]

In unrelated news, there's this boy at my work. Short, skinny, dark hair, extensive tattoos down to his knuckles and up his neck and on his legs. He's got gauged ears and wears, like, leather studded bracelets and shit. And HOT PINK SNEAKERS WITH LITTLE PINK SKULLS ON THEM. I cannot imagine who he reminds me of, really. [cough]

Anyway, I really feel the need to become this kid's new best friend. [wry] Plus he was wearing this awesome t-shirt that looked sort of MCR-ish and it turns out to be Bring Me The Horizon, which he told me rather kindly was hardcore, like in a "not to be mean but of course you aren't interested" sort of way, and I looked them up and they toured with MSI. My life has turned into one big game of Six Degrees of Bandom.

I was just saying something a little like that over at DW. I really want to hear this album and know for a fact I'll download as soon as I get the chance. But I'll also feel a little sad for not waiting for the official day.

He'd better have a plan. He'd better have crates delivered to every music store that explode in a cloud of black glitter and smoke that fades to reveal the stacks of albums.

Also, I think they should spread out and go give some out personally. I'll put my request in for Mikey right now.

That boy sounds adorable! Though I have no idea who he sounds like!

You should get back to him and tell him all about the MSI tour and casually throw in some facts about them. He'll soon realise you're meant to be his BFF.

Hee. He basically looks like Frank's younger baby!punk brother. [grins] Except maybe a bit punker, actually, judging by ear gauges. And I think he might actually have more extensive tattoos, although they aren't colored in so they're less obvious. Considering he looks about twenty, it's still kind of impressive. And I also don't think Frank's rocked the hot pink skull sneakers (although omg if he has I NEED PICS).

And I want to be all "here's how cool and into the scene I am with my awesome tour anecdotes" but I *do not know any*. [miserable] I didn't get into bandom until this past winter, by which time everyone was either a) in the studio, b) going on hiatus, c) on tour on another continent, or d) all of the above. I haven't even started listening to MSI, I'm still working my way through Leathermouth and Pency Prep.

Isn't Bring Me The Horizon the band that Alicia toured with as their touring bass player for a bit or something? I could very well be wrong, but I think she toured with them at some point.
