I bought a dress yesterday, significant because it's been years since I've done so. Hell, now I'm thinking about it I don't think I've ever bought one. I did have a very nifty purple culotte suit back in the day but a dress, not so much. I've been eyeing this dress for a while and kept trying it on when I was in the shop, and I have to admit, it's very pleasing to see it fitting better each time. So yeah, I have a dress, very casual, black, maxi length and I may wear a t-shirt over it because I don't know if I'm brave enough to wear it as it is, but I have it.

We had a nice day yesterday just me and James going for a drive, good music playing, the car windows down. Eventually we ended up at the beach and went for a stroll around the harbour and watched the yachts. We also ended up sitting on a bench talking about tentacle porn, which was interesting.

Oh, I know what you mean about dresses. I've gotten out of the habit of wearing them and am now unsure about starting again. I'm so pale that my veins so *very* well on my legs, which is embarrassing. But there is something satisfying about the swish of skirts. I hope that you do post a picture of you modeling your new bit of shiny. :D

I've got horrible legs which is why I've got a maxi length dress, but I say if you like dresses get one and don't worry about how your legs appear. I've seen pictures of you and you're gorgeous, and would rock a swishy dress.

It's probably more me because I've been talking fic so much and throwing comment fic into the wild so that it seems like more.

I love writing ensembles so much. I've missed having the kind of story that hooks on and won't let go and I'm hoping the gritty hooker fic may be that kind. It's got possibilities if I get a handle on some kind of plot.

Though really what I need to do is get pre school teacher Bob finished before I get involved in something that's hopefully long.
