Poor Pete, he is messed up big time. I'd imagine he has a fantastic time with Mikey and then at the end he goes to give him some money and Mikey gets all offended and is all 'I wasn't here on a job' and then stalks off and Patrick would tell Pete he's a moron, but then Pete would text Mikey and say sorry and they'd swap texts and emails and start over.
