I've finally started to read the wave twos, and of the two I've read I've loved them both.

Pages In Your Passport is Pete/Mikey and seriously, this story is gorgeous. I love Pete/Mikey anyway, but when it's written this well I want to stay in their world forever.
While I'm Still Young and Horny is MCR GSF. I read that this morning, and wow but do they write hot sex scenes. There's one with Gerard/Mikey that I love especially.

Last night I watched MCR play at Reading. I was watching on the TV, and also had the feed up on my computer, and talking to people on twitter, and it was such an amazing time. Though I suspect actual talking to people is a bad description as often it was communication via exclamation marks, &BAAAAAAAAAAND; and keysmashes ( I couldn't help it, okay? Mikey and Gerard did that shimmy thing they do, it's lucky I hit the keyboard at all, I mean

At the same time some of the froggies ( a group of Camp Sparkle friends ) were having their own squee party about another fandom, so my timeline was a beautiful thing to see. The concert itself, just, wow. I had all the feelings about it, and they looked so good and were obviously having the time of their lives, and then the rumours came true and Brian fucking May came onstage to play with them.

Again. Wow. I can't even imagine what that must have been to see in reality, because even experiencing it via TV/twitter had me of the edge of my seat. &BAAAAAAAND;

Ray's face, and Gerard kneeling and everything about it, and then Brian led Mikey off stage holding his hand, and really. You people know what a thing for hand holding I have, and I need a good quality picture of that in my life. All I have is

Which will be fine for now, but when I first found that it was getting on to 1am and I really needed to go to bed. But talk on twitter turned to MCR/Brian May gang bangs, which is why I went to bed wondering about the size of Brian May's dick, and really. What? If anyone had told me in the morning that's how I would have ended my day I'd have laughed at them. But it was the direction my thoughts went in, that and how that gang bang would have involved a lot of hair. I should have shame, I know this. And yet not enough to actually stop thinking about it.

Gang bang thoughts aside, it really was an incredible performance, and I got to see Kids on the BBC red button, which they'd cut out of the main show, and to sum that up

THis post made me both happy and sad - happy because you're having such fun with it, but sad that the froggy squee is plainly not happening anywhere I live. I just - I'm so glad you keep posting to your journals, is all.

I couldn't get any of the streams to work for me last night so I gave up but I've just watched the We Will Rock You/Welcome to the Black Parade combo and it's so awesome!! I'm going to have to catch up on the rest of later though. I want to get some reading done tonight. (You didn't say anything about my awesome art! You're such a terrible beta!)

I do like twitter for immediate reactions and for group watching like that, but I'll never stop posting at LJ/DW. I much prefer being able to communicate in actual sentences.

That sucks about the streams. It's so frustrating when you can't see stuff that others can't.

And yeah, I really am. I keep forgetting to actually talk about the awesome art, which is bad of me, especially as both stories had such great art.

Twitter was the best that night.

I have to admit I don't get the lure of Twitter, and I much prefer to communicate in actual sentences, too! There also seems to be a fannish exodus to Tumblr, which I really don't understand. DW and LJ offer much better opportunities for being *articulate*, really. But these days my friends list is so very quiet, and the Glambert fandom is filled with stories in chapters, which I dislike. Meh. I'm old.

I don't get tumblr as a place to interact at all. I love it for finding pictures but reblogging doesn't cut it for actually communication imo.

Plus, the people who go there tend to be much younger. It makes me feel old too. Like on Saturday, someone posted something about MCR at Reading saying how she was crying over 4 middle aged men. And she meant it in a positive way, but really, middle aged? I don't think so.

Totes. I'm still all *___________* about the Reading concert and I watched it on one of the crappiest streams alongside some of the

mcr_unofficial peeps. (and then I rewatched it a few more times. Ahem. MOVING ON.)

The way that Brian May led Mikeyway out of the stage made me think of teacher/student spanking shenanigans (Mikeyway was SO obediently following him with a little smile on his face and all that...) Mind you, I don't slash Brian May at all...but I guess you can't help some things.

My fave part was right around the beginning, when Gerard tapped into his Sassy Assy self and gave us a hip check followed by a dirrrty wiggle. Oh, and when he licked the microphone near the end of DESTROYA ~~just like licks Frank's cock every night~~. >_>

It was such an amazing concert. I taped on my DVR and it's taking up a hell of a lot of memory, and yet I've still marked it to keep. There's just no way I can delete, because I have to keep going back to watch.

I think Twitter enhances a fan's experience; sure, we can't go to every concert that is being held but thanks to Twitter we can still follow them and squee with other fellow fans live. How brilliant is that??
