Maybe Bob would corner Mikey first and wrestle the ear buds away and say "so. Does your brother think zombies and vampires and gruesome death are valid romantic metaphors?" And Mikey would be all "*glare of 'you've been in this band how long, and you STILL have to ask me that?'*" And Bob would feel slightly embarrassed (because, he's been in that band how long and he still has to ask Mikeyway that?) and hand the ear buds back and say, "Right. Well. I just wanted to be sure."

And then Bob would do something like arrange to hang out with Gerard and watch a zombie movie marathon. He's also order Gerard's favorite pizza and bring a twelve pack of Mountain Dew Code Red. And Gerard would be all, "you brought me zombies, pizza and highly caffeinated carbonated beverages. IS THIS A DATE?" And then there would be kissing.
