Why is

picture not better quality? I suspect the answer may be if it was I'd never be able to tab away from it again. Someone just asked for a Mikey/Frank story at the ficfinder comm and it sounds very awesome. You know I'm tracking that baby. I also have a long Mikey/Frank story tabbed and hopefully will get to read it tonight.

Talking of awesome things. I've been enjoying all TYV reports and music lately. The promo pictures are delightful, and also a little strange, but really, I'd expect nothing else from them. I'm liking the music too. It's not way up there as my all time favourite kind of music but I'll buy the album for sure.

cynthia_arrow linked to this funny and informative comic about semicolon usage, it's something that still trips me up so I've saved the thing. See if I can save my poor betas some work. Of course what would really save them work is if I ever sent them a story that was actually finished for real. But that's a story for another day &my betas; /buttering them up for a story coming their way soon.

On Sunday night Corey managed to break the cord that switches on the bathroom light, so right now we have no light in there at all. As the landing light does little to illuminate the room you have a choice of getting showered/bathed during the day or in the dark. Also. Yesterday I'd showered and was in my pjs when someone knocked on the door just after eight. It turned out it was one of James' friends come to look at the light, thankfully he hadn't come a few hours earlier because my new awesome peel off face mask goes on and dries bright white, so earlier I'd been making like casper the ghost.

I also like the new Young Veins song! It took me a little while but I'm reassured. It's the not the most incredible thing I've ever heard but I'm not disappointed, either.

That's such a lovely picture. It reminds me of the video of the same time period? Where I think it was one of Mikey's first shows back where Frank just..takes out his legs and drags him in a circle by his skinny ankles. XD

Wow, I almost didn't notice Frank there because Mikey is so lit up and Frank's hair is shadowing his face. The whole pic reminds me of how much I like Frank/Mikey stories.

like one of my strongest childhood memories of my mom is her wearing casper face masks and this really soft, white night gown that smelled of perfume. and we would cuddle together on the couch and watch jeeves and wooster! aww, thanks for reminding me of this!

I watched a couple of the YouTubes of the TYV show, and I really like several of their songs! It's like you say, not my all time favorite music; but I have firm plans to make a mini-playlist of my favorites off of iTunes when the album becomes available. They're also going to be playing near here this Spring. I want to go but I don't know if I'll be able to. *fingers crossed*

The only way I can see that's Frank behind Mikey is because of the horribly ugly tattoos ;-)

No, what you do in those situations is hunt out all your candlesticks and then you can take a bath by candle light! Though I what I would probably do - I'm so terribly prosaic :-D - is to use the torch that lives in the candle drawer in case of emergencies.

I could use torches but it makes everything so stark. I like lingering in the bathroom, messing with conditioner and lovely smelling body stuff. And I suspect I'd end up with a burn if I used candles *g*

I liked Change when it was released so I was hopeful that I'd like their other stuff, but there's always that risk, especially when they were so adamant that it was a changing musical direction that took them away from Panic. But yeah, a thumbs up from me, and I loved seeing Jon sing and do his little dance on stage :D

Oh man, the face mask is insane! I'm used to the kind that dries clear, this new one dries and it's like your face is covered in a thin layer of rice paper. It's very weird.

I love Frank/Mikey so much! Well, I like Mikey paired with anyone but Frank is way up there as number one.

I was a bit disappointed in the BBBs I'm afraid. So few MCR and even fewer that sounded interesting. I really hope the second wave stories will be more promising.

I suspect a lot of people dropped out for this round. I'm sure there will be many more stories in round two.
