A Bandom Kissing Meme.

Yesterday was national kissing day, and I was talking about how it would have been a good excuse for a kiss meme, and how it seemed those kind of themed memes seemed to have died out a little.

Various people suggested I host one myself, and I figured why not? The worst that could happen is no one plays or comments and I end up with an empty post. Therefore....

Now, rules, and if I've missed something you think should be there or have been unclear just let me know.

All previous and current bandom bands and members are welcome.
All pairings are welcome. Threesomes, moresomes, bring them on. Gen is fine too, and if you want to do solo kisses somehow, I'd love to see how.
Any kinds of kisses go, on the hand, on the forehead, making out for hours, brotherly kisses, friendly kisses, the kind in the middle of hot, sweaty sex.

Leave a prompt with the kind of kiss you'd like to see. Either general ( I love kisses in the rain ) or specific ( I'd love to see Frank kiss Gabe and have to stand on a box to do so ) but remember don't get too detailed, try for a middle balance.
You can leave as many prompts as you want, but only one prompt per comment.
If you want to answer your own prompt, go for it. The more kisses the better.
Prompts can be filled more than once with either fic or art.
You can write/draw as little or as much as you like.
If you do write/draw please put a pairing and title in the subject line, that way I can link from the main post.

Bob stares at the tar pool and simply says, “No.”

“If you think you can’t make it....” Mikey shrugs his shoulders and turns to the side, as if Bob’s some kind of idiot who can’t see through his tactics.

“I can make it,” and Bob can, it’s just he doesn’t see why he has to prove that. “It’s stupid.”

“It’s tradition.” Mikey takes a step forward, the toe of his boot against the black rim of tar. “Everyone does it.”

“Really?” Bob asks, and then, “Who?”

“Everyone,” Mikey repeats, watching the tar that seeps up close to his foot. “Frank’s jumped it two times.”

“Frank also climbed a bone tree and pierced his dick.” Bob steps close to Mikey, the thick steam swirling around them. “They’ll be back soon.”

“I know.” Mikey looks up and for a moment every fear is laid bare, the uncertainty that he mostly keeps hidden. “We should go and raid some pup.”

Bob waits a moment, fighting what’s sensible with what’s right.

“Not until we’ve jumped this.” Tar squelches, sucking at Bob’s boots as he gets close to the edge. “Who am I to fuck with tradition?”

“We,” Mikey says, sounding surprised. “The dare’s not for me.”

It’s not for Bob either, but sometimes he realises that you have to do something stupid, like jump a tar pool when the rest of your family are off on their own mission. But that doesn’t mean he’s jumping alone. “Double dog dare you.”

Mikey frowns, stumbling back when a tar bubble pops close to his foot. “You’re double daring me, really?”

“If I jump you do too.” Bob holds out his hand, and this is something they don’t do often, but when Mikey takes hold it feels right. He looks at Mikey and says, “We jump on three.”

Mikey grins and holds up his thumb.

They don’t make it. Of course they don’t make it. Bob’s foot slips and Mikey jumps too soon and they’re dragging each other down, landing at the side of the pool.

Bob gasps, tar in his mouth and up his nose, coating his hair and skin. He feels like some kind of tar monster, and Mikey doesn’t look any better. He’s lying half submerged in the pool, his hair in clumps and his teeth a shock of white where he’s grinning.

“This is fucking disgusting.” Mikey’s still holding Bob’s hand and he squeezes his fingers, laughing for the first time in days. “At least it’s not boiling.”

“It could have been boiling?” If he could Bob would be frowning, instead he scoops up a handful of tar, flinging it at Mikey. “Of course it could have been boiling.”

“Most tar pools aren’t.” Mikey slithers forward, tar oozing around him. All the time he’s still smiling, and he brings up his hand, swiping it over Bob’s mouth. “Thank you.”

This kiss feels weird, Mikey’s lips coated, neither opening their mouths for fear of being poisoned.

Bob holding on as responsibilities and fears are dropped for a much needed moment.

Patrick was in a filthy mood. His Ipod had died two hours into the ten hour flight, and the rest of his journey had been enlivened by the energetic screaming of the three babies also travelling today. He couldn't sleep on flights, too wary to let down his guard so much in public he supposed, which meant when he finally made it past security and into the airport proper he was moving on autopilot.

He actually bumped into Gerard before he saw him.

"Whuh?" Patrick said coherently, staring at Gerard blankly. Gerard gave an awkward little wave in reply, grinning as if he was fit to bust.

"But you're not in Chicago," Patrick's travel-addled brain couldn't make sense of what he was seeing. He wasn't due to get back home to Gerard for another 9 days - he knew the exact date as he'd been counting it down.

"Surprise!" said Gerard - if his smile got any wider, he was going to make like the Cheshire Cat and become nothing but smile.

Gerard shook his head fondly when Patrick continued to stare at him in bemusement. "It's a good job I know you, Patrick Stump, or I'd think you weren't pleased to see me."

Gerard leant forward, bending slightly to reach down so their lips could meet easily. It was just a chaste peck, suitable for everyday consumption, but it woke Patrick from his trance - Gerard was really here! With a strength that surprised himself he reached up, pulling Gerard back into position and kissing him properly this time.

"Hello," Patrick whispered against Gerard's skin as they paused for breath. Suddenly the day was looking up after all.

There isn't the gentle buzz of knowing that this will make him happy, make him safe, and it isn't the all consuming lust that was always laced with doubt and anxiety.

It's just a kiss, and when Brendon pulls back, he laughs, ducks in, and kisses Dallon again - just a peck - before he sits back down.

Especially that part. Oh Brendon, bb. ♥

Brendon knows that if he just keeps running he'll find his way out of the compound. They're all built in the sharp angled form that the Corps have favoured since their founding and he's on the outside tier. Knowing how to get out isn't the problem. The problem is the ringing alarms and body-armor clad security pounding after him. He can taste blood in his mouth from where one of them managed to split his lip with a fist before he got away. He feels the shock of an explosion whip through the floor but keeps going. Brendon rounds the corner, the compsole of his boots skidding on the slick floor as he moves too fast for them to compensate, and bursts through the still smoking hole that's been blown in the wall just as he planned.

There is a sleek low slung transpo jittering in place and he throws himself into the open side skidding over the deck plate to land against the opposite door. The transpo rockets up before he can catch his breath. The pilot is pushing it, forcing them into a razor sharp turn that makes Brendon desperately grab a cargo net to keep himself in place. Below him he hears the chatter of gunfire and then the unmistakable pops of Aprils detonating in the air. He doesn't bother looking down to see them unloading their payload of thousands of poison tipped needles, instead he crawls forward toward the pilot's chair.

The black stripe of hair running down the pilot's head, flatted only by a comm set, lets him recognize Frank even if he hadn't already known from the sharp manoeuvres the pilot was making the transpo pull. Brendon wriggles into the co-pilot seat and Frank turns to grin at him but his mouth pulls into a worried snarl. Brendon reaches up to wipe his mouth off and sure enough his hand comes away bloody. Brendon leans forward and twists so he can quickly press his mouth against Frank's; trying to say he's okay, reassure Frank that he made it. Brendon tastes smoke and the underlying bitterness of re't powder. Brendon pulls back quickly not wanting to distract Frank too long when they've still got to worry about the Corps on their tail. Frank licks his lips and his grin is back. There's a deep whump and the transpo rocks in a way that Brendon has always associated with shockwaves. His checks the rear monitor and sees a cloud rising from the Corps building. Fire is licking upwards at its base. It's the typical aftermath of the easily made Firefists that Frank favors for causing maximum damage quickly. On the monitor the fire flares bright and high. Frank's grin is nasty.

"I left them an extra present, you like?"

"I like."

This is the kind of AU I could read so many more words about. I love all your details and the fast pace, and how their kiss has to be fast too.

I thought about filling every Pete/Mikey on here but decided to not be that crazy.
But who knows, it's hard to combat my Pete/Mikey loving nature :)
