So he falls asleep with dreams of lips, soft smooth lips pressing against his own, a tongue slipping in between sliding against his and then he’s falling. And when Frank wakes up, boy is that a metaphor he can agree with because it seems all Frank’s been doing his entire life is dreaming and falling.
He wakes up and Mikey is making pancakes. Frank’s favorite, the kind with the dark chocolate chips that Mikey and the guys don’t even like because they think they’re too bitter and mess with the flavor of the syrup. Frank has a moment of sheer panic before Mikey turns with lost eyes.
“They were Pete’s favorite. I- I don’t know why I made them,” And Frank’s a little stung and a little relieved at the same time, “did you- I don’t remember getting in bed last night.”
“Yeah. I-I found you passed out in the back lounge,” it was a bold face lie, Frank knew, but it was a necessary one, “I dragged you to your bunk.”
“Oh,” Mikey says, “Oh, good.”
So Mikey watches Frank eat the pancakes he made, then they pop a bag of popcorn, steal Bob’s M&Ms and stay in the back lounge until Gerard calls them out for pizza and a game of Magic. Wash, rinse, and repeat for longer than Frank cares to keep track of.
(this part is only so short because any other cut would've been extremely awkward, sorry)
