This is fabulous! And it makes sense - at least to me. I love the bitter feeling of this (oh god, I couldn't fit into school either /o\ - so it touches all the buried tender places I don't look at too closely).

The funny thing is, they don't know them now either.
“No you wouldn’t.” Mikey blinks against an icy wind and tucks his chin down...
This, because it's so true and I love that Mikey just says it, because they know each other.
