I just realised I never talked about the h/c exchange reveals.

So, I can say I wrote Puppies and Kittens and Goats, Oh My for bluflamingo.

It's a modern Musketeers AU where Aramis runs an animal shelter and after having an accident, hires Porthos to help. It involves puppies and kittens and an Athos who is sort of obsessed with goats. It was fun to write, but a bit last minute as initially I wrote Musketeer sex slaves in space, showed the finished file to

themoononastick while admitting that while I loved the story, I wasn't sure if it was what the person I'd been matched to would want. Yeah, it matched on pairing and major themes but seemed to be away from their actual fic likes. She agreed, so I wrote the shelter story instead.

I've actually been writing the sex slaves in space for a long time now and probably will flesh it out much more and post at some point. I mean, sex slaves in space are right up my alley. And I do actually like the plot I have going on and all the AU details. No one will probably read as the Musketeer fandom is tiny and going for AU cuts down readers even more. But still, the sex slaves in space will be seen at some point.

In return, bluflamingo wrote History Repeated for me, which is a very lovely story that's based around the after-effects of Savoy. I really do recommend it.

Talking of which, and changing fandoms. For the MCU people,

romanticalgirl wrote Another Fine Myth You've Gotten Us Into and it's delightful. It's gen, is Clint centric while also heavily involving the other Avengers and best of all, has a flying purple sparkly unicorn. It made me laugh often and I loved every single person -- or unicorn -- in it.

And one final rec. Greedy_dancer has been uploading some of her old MCR works and I've just read Dark Killjoys and it was right up my alley.

It's father's day today, so we're off to see Corey later. Other than that, for the first time in nearly a week the sun is shining and it's not raining so I think we'll go for a walk. And see my FiL at some point, too.

I love space stories, and in fact have wrote a few now. Though my other big one is Mikey/Frank. Saying that, everything of mine tends to have big Way bro interaction as I love them so.

The unicorn story is a lot of fun, and I loved Dark Killjoys. Greedy Dancer is such a good writer, it's a shame she's been out of the fandom for so long.

It is such a sinking feeling to realize that a draft you've worked hard on for an exchange may not suit. (Ask me how I know...) But kudos to you for making the effort to give your recip something they'd really enjoy.

When I was conflicted if they'd like it or not, themoononastick suggested that I check out my recipient's bookmarks on A03, and I quickly realised I'd probably missed the mark.

Thankfully I did have enough time to write something new or I'd have felt bad.

I've neglected Musketeers fic for some time, I realise, and even more now as I'm deep in Endeavour Everything but I'll be sure to read should you finish/post that story!

I still love my sex slaves in space. And I'm not surprised that it appeals to you too. Actually, I really should expand and finish the thing completely. Otherwise, it's going to be a huge waste of words.

I know what it's like when a fandom takes over your brain, others just don't get read. But, I'll be letting everyone know when I finally do post. I'll have to to get at least one reader *g*
