Milo was back at the vets for his checkup today. He'd lost a little bit of weight and needed to have his bloods checked again. Talking to the vet beforehand about what would happen if his liver levels were still off, and she started talking about scans and biopsies and pound signs were being burned in front of my eyes. But, thankfully, when he came back his liver was back to normal and while his kidney levels were still off, it was only a little and can be managed by special food. Which you'd think was the same special food Tinker has for her kidney issues, but no! Life is never that easy and this is a renal food with other added elements.

Took him home and then went to see Pauline as she had James' birthday card and present. She made us some lunch and from there we headed for a new The Range which has opened near Durham. The place is huge and is packed with amazing Christmas stuff. Including tinsel robots which were amazingly ugly. However, sadly, one didn't come home with me. Because I got a bandy-legged Santa instead :D

On the way home the doctors phoned, and all James' blood results came back well, apart from the fact he has a Vitamin D deficiency and they need him to go out and buy a supplement. We've been researching and it says that lack can cause depression, fatigue, joint pain etc, all of which fit his symptoms. I mean, it won't be the only issue, I know it can't be that simple, but hopefully getting his levels back up will help.

Yesterday we went to see Frozen 2, which was great. We've started to know some of the staff working at Durham Odeon and one said that it wasn't our usual thing. I told her our usual thing is pretty much anything showing on the screen as long as it's not a gory slasher fic or aimed at five-year-olds. Anything between that, bring it on.

It's good to hear that Milo's good but, lorde, at the special food that is totes different from the one Tinker needs. /o\

Vitamin D deficiency is something that's more common nowadays. Mainly because humans tend to spend a lot more time indoors. I was diagnosed with the same thing a few years ago and can say that the supplements deffo helped. Especially since I'm pretty much a vampire, lol.

LOL at the staff being confused abt you and James going to see Frozen 2. Like, by now, they should be more surprised if y'all had gone to see, I dunno, Halloween or Child's Play. What with both of those being horror movies and all...

I've yet to watch the first movie (though it's on Disney+ and all, but I just feel no need to check it out), so my reaction to the sequel is mostly like "huh, that's nice." Per what I've heard, a lot of folks liked it?

Right now, I'm less than a day way from watching Knives Out and basically chomping at the bit for it.
