(no subject)

There was nearly a murder last night in the turps household. Going to bed and seeing the alarms set was not what I wanted to see. I could feel my hands wanting to curl round James' neck. Managed to ask why they were set and discovered he'd made plans to go Christmas shopping with a friend, setting off at 8 in the morning!

Luckily he was saved when he said he'd get ready himself as long as I made sure he got up in time. Which I did, then went back to sleep and was woken up to fasten his trousers etc. After that I went to sleep again to him saying he'd be back tonight.

I could be having a sleep in, but I'm awake, because I woke up 5 minutes after he left and couldn't go back to sleep....arghhhhhhhh!

On the positive side it means I can answer mail because I spent all of yesterday editing. But for now, I need coffee!

My God, your man does *love* shopping, doesn't he? Is he a xmas shopping addicted? That is pretty sweet, I think- except when you have to get up early when you could be sleeping, of course!

He does love shopping. I've never known anyone like him. I mean I like shopping up to a point but after a while all I want to do is stay at home.

I'd love another cup of Italian coffee, you're a life saver!
