In non-medical news.
I very much enjoyed this photo of Mikey and Frank as posted on Mikey's Insta. The love may be dulled but still there it seems.
We survived the first storm, though how our fences are still standing I don't know. Yet again the garden is a mess with pots everywhere and the wheelie bin went on a journey scattering recycling all over. I picked that up this morning but left the rest considering storm number two is going to hit tonight, this one with even stronger winds and snow. Which is wonderful.
Sadly the recliner can't be fixed. The man who came out said that as it's an older sofa set with recliners getting parts to fix it would be pretty much impossible, especially as they'd have to be sourced from abroad and it would cost more than a new one by the time it was done. He was decent though and didn't charge for the call out and check.
Bodhi turned 6 months today, look at this

After my lymph appointment we went to James' dentist appointment, well James did, I sat in the car rating Facebook ads. Then considering the horrendous weather forecast for tomorrow got some grocery shopping done. Company didn't have much but did have a restock of the fake chicken breasts I like and James was happy to stock up on bottles of Irn Bru.
Now though, bath and book, it's been a long day.

What a face. *smish*
Oh no, recliner!!! But yay new sofa?????

An understandable reaction.
Sadly no new sofa as the rest of it is fine and still very comfortable. Plus, James hardly uses his end as a recliner so can do without it. As opposed to me, I use mine every night to watch TV. I'll be gutted if mine breaks.

Sending good wishes for making it through the next storm too. I hope the fence holds up! That's a shame about the recliner. It sucks when something could mostly still be in good shape but lack of a specific part keeps it from working.
Bodhi, however, is 100% adorable!

I'm looking at the fence now and it's up due to the plank I braced there a few storms ago, but I can still see into next door's garden, which I shouldn't be able to as that fence is solid. So, it will have to be fixed properly, but not yet.
Yeah, the repairman was upfront saying getting the part would be hard and expensive. So a chair it will have to remain.
She is! She's the double of Lucy too.

Hope you didn't get too much snow.
ETA: HAPPY BIRTHDAY! ♥

We've had very little snow compared to what was forecast. Though the winds have just hit with a vengeance so it may come yet.
Thank you!

Bodhi is adorable and I enjoyed her sunflower themed photoshoot. Kayleigh was looking for a big plastic one but guess couldn't find it.

The second storm took my shed. Took it right off its base and halfway down the garden, in fact. However, with some careful lifting, we managed to get it back where it was meant to be without the whole thing collapsing on us, so I'm going to call it a win.
Sorry to hear about the recliner though; why must life be so damn expensive?!

And I say that as my brain goes nooooo! they will always meet up even if we don't see.
Oh man, that's scary about your shed. I'm glad it's back in place and yeah, that's very much a win.
Money man, it would make my life so much easier if I had loads of it. Saying that, the repairman said it would take months to source the parts even if we could pay. So, I guess Covid restrictions strike again.

The cutest!
Thankfully the second storm wasn't as bad as forecast for us, still very windy though. I'll be glad when that's over.
