I see it was announced that Panic at the Disco have officially ended. I can't say I have an emotional reaction to the news as my interest in Panic pretty much ended when Ryan and Jon left. Then when Spencer left, well, the Brendon show had no appeal. Still, I feel for anyone disappointed by the news because been there, done that. Though on the other side of that, man, some of the comments on that post are brutal.

It's rec day at Snowflake so I can see me having many more tabs open by the end of the day. I should also think of things I've enjoyed reading myself and rec them. Just need to remember them first because all that's coming to mind right now is a football rps series that I've been really enjoying -- and yeah, I never thought I'd be saying that either.

James had to take today off work. He's either having a slight AMC flair or his kidney is acting up. Whichever one it is hopefully a few days rest will get on top of things and he'll be back on Monday. Fingers crossed anyway, if not, well we'll deal with it then.

I feel like Panic were over a long time ago. Plus, with all the horrible stuff about Bden coming out over the last few years, I'm just like. Meh. I feel like we should all just forget the 'solo' Panic and only remember back when they were a full band :p

I haven't ever listened to the last few albums and considering how many times they were slated at that post, I doubt I'll ever change that.

I'm happy to stick to memories of painted faces and strange videos and to believe that Panic ended when Jon and Ryan left.

He's feeling much better today, which is a relief. I really wasn't wanting a repeat of the kidney situation!

I thought Panic had ended years ago. But yeah, sorry for all those hoping for the opposite. It's really sad when your band ends.

Panic should have ended years ago really, from what I saw it was Brendon not wanting to give up and releasing albums that were sinking quality-wise each time.

James feels much better today which is great. It does look like a minor flair which obviously sucks, but at least we know how to deal with that.

I sighed a wistful sigh re Panic. I'm glad I got to see them live, and whilst I enjoyed the later music with just Brendon, it wasn't the same. I hope all of them are happy wherever they are.

You make a very good point about hoping they're happy. I keep mentioning Ryan but wonder about Spencer, too. I know Jon seems to be okay as I follow him on Insta and he posts there occasionally.

I feel for those who feel they've lost their band, but it was really long since time I think... I suspect Brendon will likely do other things and performances in the future, just under his own name maybe, and with less playing of the old songs, which is a shame, but. Yes. I'm glad I've tickets for march, but it's not so unexpected.

I can't see Brendon ever stopping performing completely. I'm actually surprised he's kept going as long as he has under the Panic name.

I'll still enjoy the old stuff, and will check out anything new if he does bring something out. But mainly, Panic is nothing but a good memory now.
