Snowflake Challenge 14
Thank you
misbegotten for the fabulous, and punny postcard ♥
I had the fastest B12 injection appointment ever today. While I did wait to get into the treatment room once I was in the nurse made a comment she'd done lots of B12s today, then actually looked surprised when I sat down. But she got the vial, did the injection, made the next appointment and I was on my way in about two minutes at the most.
And now, Snowflake.

What were your top 5 fandoms for 2022 based on the amount of time you interacted with them?
1. Bandom -- still hanging in there and boosted by MCR touring last year
2. The Musketeers
3. MCU -- winterhawk usually
4. Downton Abbey -- Thomas centric only
5. Popslash, if you count following the SDBs on Insta
What were your top 5 fandom spaces (Discord, Twitter, etc.) you experienced fandom in terms of time spent?
1. DW by a huge amount
2. LJ, though only to cross-post as I think I got/gave a handful of comments there all last year
3. AO3 -- mostly reading and a paltry amount of fic posted last year
4. Instagram
5.
What are the top 5 things you did to contribute to fandom in terms of time? Did you write? Comment? Send positive energy into the universe? Create art?
1. I comment a lot on fannish stuff here
2. I also kudos/comment on AO3
3. I help mod Snowflake
4. I write, though sadly not often
5.
What were your top 5 most appreciated fandom contributions? (i.e. in terms of likes, kudos, reblogs, comments, etc.)
1. I guess in terms of sheer number of comments, modding Snowflake last year and this year.
2. I still get comments and kudos on my fic most days, which is gratifying considering how little I actually post now.
3. Strangely, I've been getting likes on my very old MCR posts on LJ. I'm talking, ten years or older posts here which is lovely but also surprising
4. I like fannish squee so enjoy commenting about fannish stuff on here and hopefully people enjoy that.
5.
Have a Top 5 List you'd like to share?? By all means!#
I'm lucky enough to have four cat cafes and one dog cafe I visit pretty regularly. So, have a list!
1. Mog on the Tyne, the first one I went to and still my favourite

2. The Pawsome Cat Cafe -- it opened just before the pandemic, so I'm thrilled it managed to hang on

3. Catpawchino -- all pedigree cats, and Simba, the hairless cat is the highlight

4. Bad Cat Cafe, the new kid on the block and a worthy contender

5. Dog & Scone. Okay, admittedly, not a cat cafe, but a dog cafe is worthy of note too

I wish the one in York had been open last time I was there as I would have loved to visit. Though, it's too far away to really class as local.

How cool that you're getting comments on your old bandom fic on LJ!
I'm so envious of all the cat cafes you can visit!

It is cool about those comments, there are some lovely people still reading.
Cat cafes are the best, though I'd still love to know how the area attracted so many of them.

i think this makes sense!! there are so many new bb fans, they probably liked something newer that you wrote and then went back through your archives to read more.
and i'm so glad you're still hanging in here with us! bandom wouldn't be the same without you <3

I think you could be right, and it's nice to think my downloading, keeping and posting of stuff is still being enjoyed.
I still love bandom a lot. While it's obviously not as busy now, I couldn't imagine leaving the fandom ♥
