We went to see Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom on New Year's Eve morning.
Was it that good? Nope, but sometimes all you want to see are a lot of pretty special effects and Jason Momoa chewing up the scenery, and that, he was brilliant at.

romantical, thank you so much!
James' appointment was cancelled on Friday night, but they gave him one on Saturday morning instead, and he's now using a steroid cream that's working well. In that, the itch has gone, but he still has big patches of deep pink skin.
All my decorations are down now. Though as usual it's spot the one that got left behind. Usually it's something small, but this time I managed to leave an angel hanging in the window, and a full garland along the top of the kitchen cupboards.
Snowflake Challenge has started, which means my flist has exploded, which is great but also takes a bit of getting used to at first. I haven't done the first challenge myself, but when looking at my user info noticed my Frank/Mikey banner had been deleted. It was hosted at Photobucket and as I'm not paying for the service, they've been threatening to delete my accounts for a while, and now they have. So, goodbye Frank/Mikey banner, you kept my user info looking lovely for many years.
I just got a phone call from the weight management team
First a small niggle, the lady was using a speakerphone and I hate the echo you get, hearing your own voice as you speak.
Anyway, I have an appointment on the 23rd at the walk in centre in town. Not sure what will happen and while she said sorry for such a late appointment, it does seem fast. But, strike when the iron is hot and all that.
And actually, I Googled some details, and it's a 26-week programme, with one to one meetings every six weeks with weekly drop-in group sessions to include cooking demonstrations, low impact exercise classes, nutrition advice and more.
Nothing terrifying, but still, yikes.

Ha there is ALWAYS at least one sneaky bit of sparkle. I think it's elves, personally.
I think the programme sounds interesting - the idea of demos and exercise classes is positive, and more holistic than these things usually are (but speakerphones need to get in a lavapit)

That programme sounds good but also kind of awful, I hope it goes well! Reminds me of my mom's yearly diabetic school that the hospital made her go to. She coulda taught the class XD Hope James continues to improve!!!

The annoying thing about Photobucket is that they sent a gagillion emails out, asking if you wanted your photos, but if you tried to go get them (at least for me), it wasn't allowing it without PAYING for the service. I would have had A LOT more respect for them if they allowed people access to their photos first, so they could grab them if they wanted to. And then, delete them out.
I'm not sure I ever had anything more there than the photos for a popslash SeSa story one year. I gather they've been removed. I had grabbed them from the story itself years ago and added them into the story on AO3. But yeah, I know a lot of people were using it as a place to store banners. Hopefully, people had backups of things they liked or wanted to keep.

I'm so glad to hear James got something to help with the itching. Hopefully the inflamed skin will now heal speedily and well *keeps fingers crossed*
An appointment this month sounds very fast to me! That programme sounds quite intensive and will hopefully give you just what you need to get back in shape. All the good luck!!
