(no subject)

I was sick yesterday. Alternatively freezing and boiling for most of the day but thankfully I'm good now, so it must have been a nasty 24 hour thing. Today it's snowing like crazy so I'm staying in to catch up on some things and while I'm doing so I'll meme.

Gacked from [livejournal.com profile] nonchop

If you comment here, I will tell you what fic of yours is my favorite, and why

Everyone could do with an ego boost at times so comment away, just let me know where your stuff is because I suck and may not remember without a prompt.

Also, another meme.

1. Comment with a request to see absolutely anything on my computer. My desktop, my documents, my playlist, my bookmarks, my latest Photoshop graphics experiment ... absolutely whatever you are curious about. Request it.
2. I will respond with a screenshot of the very thing you request.
3. In return, you will spread this meme far and wide.

How do you take a 'picture' of your folder like that? (And post it, of course).

If you look on your keyboard there should be a print screen key. Just open your graphics programme, press the print screen key and ctrl V it into a new file.

Then all I do is save it and upload it into Photobucket (http://photobucket.com/).

On your keyboard, there is a button that says "prt scr" or something there abouts (which is basically print screen). Hit it and whatever is open at the time will be taken as a snapshot. Then open a graphic program (your computer's paint or I use PSP7) and paste it there, saving as a jpeg. You'll probably have to reduce the size of the image, too and how to do that depends on your program. Posting it, you need to host it somewhere that allows remote linking (like photobucket).
