I've been thinking about this and would it be bad to submit a second story in a series as a challenge entry? It fits the guidelines fine I'm just a little hesitent because of it being a sequel to something.

Is it a Popslash challenge? If so, then I think it's fine 'cause it's within the fandom, no?

If not, can the story be read by itself without having to read the first one?

I think that would be just fine.

If you link to the first part, it would be alright, wouldn't it?

Hm. I guess it's okay if the second part stands on its own. I'm not sure. Tricky.

Well. I've done it, and wasn't villified to my face. Is it absolutely necessary to read the previous story? If not, you can probably get away with it.

I would honestly prefer if the story is in some way at least self contained. If it's a part of a series, is it a WIP or a simple sequel to a first story?
