Just found out that Adam in MX is only going to be a recurring character, not a regular. There's a load of other things that are changing in the show, but as only Meg would be interested I'll refrain from telling them all *g*
But I will say this. What the fuck are they doing to my show? No Emma, Adam in a supporting role, a new woman with a shadowy past and things happening on a bigger scale than the team ever imagined.
I swear if they've messed with Brennan's character again I'll...I'll...well I'll still watch but with much bitching *g*
I guess this is one of the problems of being involved with an on-going fandom. Waiting and fretting before each new season.

If you go here (http://www.comicscontinuum.com/stories/0307/25/index.htm) It tells you whats happening in S3, well at least some things.
I'm not happy about him being a part timer either, but at least he's in the show in some way. But Adam's always been so central to MX that I can't imagine the show without him.
I keep thinking about how the show changed between S1 and S2 ( for the worst in my opinion) and how Lauren bailed out saying that things have changed a lot, and get this bad feeling.
I'd love to be proved wrong. I still love the show so much, but I'm not feeling confident right now.

I caught MX halfway through Season 2 and am now catching up on Season 1, which I am liking a lot more than S2. I'm still interested in seeing what happens in S3 but I'm also having a hard time seeing how Adam's dimished role in MX helps the show. And Adam is too much an interesting and complex man to not have as central to the show.

I watched it from the start, and fell in love with Brennan in the first episode. It killed me how they changed him into this chauvinist in the second season. In fact I didn't like most of the changes. S1 is so much better.

I agree. Adam *is* MX. He was the one that created the new mutants. He built MX to his specifications yet the writers seem to think they can edge him out. I understand that John Shea wants less hours, but surely they could have done that without demeaning his role in the show.
I wasn't that keen on a lot of S2 but I did like that Adam seemed to have more issues. He is interesting and complex and his interaction with the team was developing nicely.
Like I said, I'll watch, and just hope they know what they're doing.

Alas, it was not me. I just joined the list and yahoo has decided not to send me most of the list messgages. But the poster, Jenn,(there seems to be a few Jens on the list *G*> did make some very interesting points about the A/J story and Adam himself.
