One day I'll stop blindly clicking links. That way I'll spare myself the utter horror of coming across badly written NCIS Tony/Tim MPREG stories.

However, that day is not today.

I'm about half way through the JuC swap stories at the moment. I've been enjoying them a lot, and it's been good to sit and read the responses from the writers. I love hearing how people approach their stories, it's like getting a little extra glimpse about each one.

I've also been thinking about SeSa, specifically, beginning my pre swap thoughts about what I'll get. It's early I know, the sign ups haven't even started, but still, it's a ritual that needs to begin. While no pairings hold fear for me, the words 'gsf heavy on the smut' would be enough to bring me to my knees. If that happens I'd have to spend weeks typing with my fingers over my eyes, which believe me, is difficult to do. Though my worst fear would be getting assigned a friend to write for, especially

interlock who's been my beta forever. I'd have to write two stories and lie and I'd be a nervous wreck.

Man, this is why I love SeSa story exchanges so much! They get the blood flowing and the nerves jangling and it's such a bewitching combination.

For now though, I have new NCIS and then emails to write before the kidlet gets home.

I suppose it's a case of pros and cons writing for friends. On one hand, you know what they like, on the other. If you screw up it'll hit harder. Plus, two stories needed! I'm not good at the lying thing!

I'm so glad the day started well.

They used every single decoration we have...for Halloween, for Christmas, for birthdays, for St. Patricks day, even a wedding decoration we have. It's so crazy and cute!

I don't seek out MPREG, but know it can be done well. There's some great examples of popslash mpreg for example, but when it's bad it's terrible!

OMG! YES! Not to take away from the touching memories of Gibb's daughter, but wet Tony is way hot! I felt so bad for him, having those two lives resting only on him. What a horrible situation.

I would be happy to write Joey/Brian, sadly your pattern of SeSa stories would continue when you were disappointed at only getting a story where they hold hands.

I love hand-holding. It's sweet, and adorable, and dorky, and everything that JoB ought to be. Especially when it takes place in the middle of HOT SEX. :-)

Same here. It's scary to think if I wasn't curious at Yahoo groups I may not have found slash.

I'm just on this years JuC swap stories at the moment. If I have time I'm going to try the other ones though. Maybe just the ones you recced.

I have such glee seeing that list go up. It's so much fun.

I definitely recommend checking out a couple of the older stories as well, there are some really good ones in there as well. :) If I remember correctly, there was some humour and angst and a high school au and a threemanbus in the ones I recced, so that might be a good place to start. :)
