Took Corey and his friend to the Aquarium today. It was cool, some great fish, the stingrays would come right up to you in the open tank sticking their noses in the air. Wasn't that keen on the underwater tunnel, as it made me feel queasy being under there.
When we came out we drove along the beach, it's really windy today and I watched as some people who were surfing while being pulled by a giant kite, just leaping over waves, it was awesome to watch. I've never seen anything like it before and was fascinated. Yeah I know, it doesn't take much lol.
While we were driving I couldn't get the plot for a damn Choey story from my mind. I've done two follow on drabbles for The Boyband 100 and someone commented that it could be extended into a story, and it can, and I love the idea, but damn I haven't time to actually write the thing. The problem is it's in my head and won't leave. I can see everything that happens, I can even hear what the characters are saying, and they won't bloody shut up. My mind is a scary place just now. Poor Jim and Blair are stuck in a car, stinking, grief stricken and in pain. Brennan and Jesse have blue balls because they've been waiting for sex so long, and now these jump into the mix. SDB's, Mutants and Sentinels all mixed together. What makes it funny is different friends all want different stories. Why couldn't I be one of those people that do one fandom at a time?!
Just had Kayleigh here and she's been arguing with mam. The crap's going to hit the fan tonight as usual. I'd bet anything I'll have a visit/phonecall from mam tonight. Thing is I'm totally on Kayleigh's side this time. She phoned my mam for something and she was at the pub. They argued and Kayleigh texted to mam that she was always at the pub with her alcholic friends, which she is. Mam showed the whole pub the text message and they all phoned Kayleigh and left a ten minute tirade on her phone. It just seems to me that a mother should chose her kids over her friends but that never happens as soon as she gets in the pub. Corey's supposed to sleep there on a Saturday but no way in hell will that happen tonight.
I want to welcome JenCat to LJ too. She's my Mutant X/Brennan partner in crime, and my USA sweetie. Provides me with much smut and goods and I'm thrilled she's here. Hee, all my dearest cyber friends are here now, I feel all loved and comfortable :) Of course she may leave when she sees how boring/flaky/melodramatic I am usually ;)

Then... well, genius writers can't stay in just one fandom. With all the great stories you have in your mind, it would be such a waste if you didn't write them, sis! This is your burden *g* I'm glad your popslash stories are working so well. Way to go, sweetie *g*
