Big Bang stories are going to be the death of me. Or ensure I end up friendless when all I ever do is sit and gorge myself on fic.

But man. The stories. I read Pennies and Colder Fountains and it killed me. It's good I was reading when I was alone because I had tears before the end. If you've read it come discuss with me, because, I need to flail with someone.

Something more light-hearted. I did that mash game meme. It tells you to put some dodgy options in to add excitement. Which yeah. Guess



		I will marry mikey way.
		After a wild honeymoon, We will settle down in sheep land in our fabulous Apartment.
		We will have 4 kid(s) together.
		Our family will zoom around in a black old banger.
		I will spend my days as a toilet attendent, and live happily ever after.

I really need more Mikey/Frank icons.

ETA: I uploaded these for someone yesterday and while I'm sure everyone who wants them has them, I hate seeing links going to waste. All FOB.

LJ is currently the reading room. We can curl up on virtual comfy chairs and sip tea/coffee/what have you while devouring all the new words.

Let's see... I've gotten through Long Live the Black Parade [which has apparently been DELETED?! Oh no!It's so,so GOOD], read the werewolf fic TWICE [despite having some issues with it; and the fanmix makes me very happy :)], and parts of the diner AU, the Ocean's 11 fusion and the Return to Witch Mountain fic. I've also been distracted by a bunch of *other* fic, in several other fandoms. What have you read aside from the Mikey/Frank?

That fits so well. I have this lovely mental image of people resurfacing from each story, looking around, sharing words and thoughts and then going back for more.

Yeah, I saw that was deleted, thankfully someone grabbed it in a cache and offered for download, so I can still read.

Oh, your list looks so interesting. I've read the Seaquest AU which was so good. Then I've just finished a Joe/Jon which turns to Joe/Brendon where they're teachers and work in an office, and it was nice. The Jon/Joe breakup handled well with a non-ass Jon despite him ending things. I actually started reading the BB stories late because I got reading a Waycest tentacle fic which was long too, and that was excellent, and very hot.

I just read it on your recommendation and oh my god, jesus, oh my god. I want to talk about it but not spoil it for people! Also, I think I partially didn't understand some of it! (Maybe because it's 7:50 am and I got 3 hours of sleep and started reading it at 6 am?) But wow, thank you so much for the rec, god. Wow, jesus.

It killed me. It was everything I love in a story and then some. It was harsh, heart breaking, terrifying and it pulled me in and didn't let go from beginning to end.

Reading comments I saw that the formatting helps you understand. With reality being aligned left, Frank's hallucinations aligned right and memories in the middle. Once I got that it was easier to work out what was happening in the moments I didn't understand at first. Because like you, I got lost at times, but I think that added to the whole mixed-up trippy feel of the story.

As Mikey goes cold turkey on his meds and Frank gets more fucked up in the head and there were parts of it that I read with tears flowing and my hand pressed against my mouth because, ouch.

The two of them against the world and it really was fucked up, because they weren't meant to be fleeing for their lives and just barely surviving and man, everything after Mikey being beaten up. I echo your wow.

Then the end. It broke my heart.

Toilet attendent? Really! :p
But at least you'll live happily ever after! XD

So it seems. An old banger and cleaning toilets. Still yes, at least we're happy *g*

I'm all caught up in the love of bigbang too and am having such a lovely time, so I'll definitely still be around. :)

I can't even talk about that story, I'm still kind of jaw dropped about it I think.

I know! The story killed me, even if I had to re-read to work out what actually went on. I think what killed me the most was the end :(

Okay, for some reason "sheep land" is the best part of that meme for me. :D

I'm being so indulgent with my reading. Of course it helps that I load stories onto my pocket pc and can read at night :)

Bandom Big Band killed me tonight, sis!

I read Pennies and Colder Fountains and it kinda haunted me even after I was done reading. So fantastic! I'm glad you told me about the format though because it was confusing at first, and I knew what to expect! lol But, yeah, really incredible... and that ending, dude, that ending!

And then I just read A Note to Follow So and omg! So, so good! I ached whiled reading it, ached for the boys. It felt so real! Seriously painful. And the Bob-Mikey thing? L.o.v.e! Mikey totally broke my heart in that story. They all did. Thank God things ended the way they did. I mean, obviously, we knew from the start how it'd end since it follows canon but even knowing didn't make things less painful.

Some fic writers are so incredibly talented, dude!

And yes. So much love for A Note To Follow So. I have so much love for that story even though it hurt to read at times.

I know! I reached the end and just wanted to cry! And then I was reading comments and some people were all rejoicing about the happy ending and I was like 'but, but it's on the right *breaks down and cries*' and, you know, it is an amazing fic and I loved it, but it's painful!

Same thing with A Note to Follow So... we do love to hurt, don't we, sis? lol

And I scanned the flist and saw that Arsenic had posted which filled me with glee, then I realised it was a Panic! fic and I don't read panic... except it's Arsenic, so I might do an exception. *g*

I think I'll read the fic, if only because I just adore her work :-) Also, I scanned it quickly and it'd seem it should push some buttons so er, yeah, tonight *nods*

I've started reading the SPN BB - not enough hours in my days, sis, not nearly enough! Stupid work and stupid RL! - and I've found a couple that I really enjoyed,

lemmealone's in particular, but the ones I'm really looking forward to haven't been posted yet...

So many, many stories to read! I'm pacing myself right now and only reading a story a day (why do I have to work??) - I'm looking forward to this weekend when I can sit down and read all the rest. So far the ones I've read have been awesome!

I know! Everything I've read so far has been amazing. The talent is just, wow.
