Pluses. I enjoyed it last year and I got a lovely mix with beautiful cover art.
Minuses. The long waiting time to post and the fact that I don't actually have a concrete story idea.

I don't know. It's not like I need to be in a big bang challenge to write something long, but it is fun to be involved, especially as I flaked on BBB yet again. Also, I do have an idea, but one that's so angst and h/c filled that no one would ever want to create art or a mix for it. Oh well, I have time to decide yet.

Talking of h/c. I had a House dream last night. One where Chase collapsed in House's office/diagnosing room thing and I woke up and reminded myself to watch that episode again because I liked it so much. Only to realise that it's not an actual episode at all. Damn you Pit of Voles and your countless Chase collapsing stories. Damn you to hell!

I spent the last weekend putting the living room back into order. Pictures on the wall and bringing stuff back in. Then today we went and ordered the new carpet so it all needs taking out again on Thursday. Still, by Friday night it'll be all done and hopefully looking awesome. We also bought new curtain rods today, but despite measuring first they're too short. Decorating, why so difficult? Or the real question, decorators, why so faily?

It looks like I'm still getting no comment notifications to my comm posts, or to comments. I don't know whether this is the same issue that hasn't be solved since before CS or something new. Which ever it is, apologies if you asked something in comments and I haven't replied.

Sign up! You know you want to ;-D And you already seem to have a story idea, even if it's your usual h/c angst fest. Which a lot of people actually like, strange as it seems to me, so I don't think you'll have to worry about noone wanting to mix or do art for it. What is it anyway?

New carpet!! I've had the same thing happen to me, I thought I'd measured so carefully but the holes I'd drilled for the shelf still ended up too far apart. Good luck with getting everything finished and back to order. (I demand pictures of the finished result!)

That's strange. Are you getting any notifications at all? There seems to be some problems with some comment notifications according to the Known Issues page:

The only ones I was getting were from my personal posts. But Rikes linked me to the comment notification page saying some of hers had been unchecked, and that had happened to mine, too.

Just as a guideline, you hit just about every button I've ever had in "When Day is Night Alone". You know, if you still need to make any plot decisions. Just saying. :)

Well, I'd read the hell out of that story! I know how you feel, though; I have been eyeing up the werewolf big bang sign-ups and wondering if I have a something. Those are open until late July, though, so I really have time to think.

(Though now I am also thinking about the *other* bunny that latched onto my ankles Saturday. I think it followed me home from CS in my luggage. Do you think they multiply because of all the sugar?)

Oh, I don't know. Speaking as an bbb artist, angst and h/c does not necessarily scare me off from wanting to create art. Speaking as a beta reader who is also an artist, I beta-ed for a fairly heavily h/c fic (lots of hurt - but most remembered, only some current, heavy on the comfort and it all ended happily!) that I could have created a number of different art pieces for - and one I am looking forward to seeing if the artist who claimed it saw what I saw as I read it.

I've never created a mix, but I looking at the huge list of bbb summaries, and all of them have been claimed and lots have been double claimed for both art and mixes. So I wouldn't worry your story idea wouldn't have people interested!

I almost signed up for the au_bigbang, or whatever it was, a while ago. There are so many BBs I can't keep them all straight. I have an idea, but maybe not the oomph to write it.

Re notifications: go and check your settings just in case. Some of mine had become unchecked for no reason.

(I kinda don't want to know, actually, as my brain's decided that Joshtin must obviously be the pairing of Joshua Lyman and Tintin, and this fills me with all sorts of glee. And horror. But mostly glee.)
