I approve of waking up to blistering hot Frank/Mikey not!fic comments from [livejournal.com profile] mikeyway_daily members. Very much so. ETA: Like magic actual fic has just arrive in my in-box. Stars. In. My. Eyes!

I have final beta back on the fic that won't end, which means that very soon it will end, and actually be posted. My betas deserve so much praise for this story. They've read, and re-read and called me on the bad bids, of which there were many. Who knew that what was supposed to be a simple story of pre-school teacher Bob would cause so much angst?

Snow Fairy is back at Lush! Also, the Christmas range is out. I want it all, apart from the shower jelly. I can't get away with that stuff somehow.

It's pomegranate season, I was eating one last night, and after a disaster where instead of the pin method I decided to sort of fold the pomegranate inside out after being cut into quarters, which resulted in seeds flying everywhere, I wondered how people ate their pomegranates?

I also started to read though my tabbed fic last night. There's so much it's scary.

James is off today so soon we're heading out to buy groceries, and also take the in-laws shopping. Where there will be magazine buying. Oh yes there will.

Thinking of, and in weird dream is weird moment. Dreaming about reading the Kerrang interview is understandable, that the photoshoot consisted of Mikey wearing the chest piece of a Stormtrooper outfit, not so much.

I need to get out of my pjs and do something productive. Maybe another cup of coffee first though.

Mmm, grannypommets!

I cut pomegranates in half, then carefully peel away the skin, pulling the seeds out in the natural segments they break up into. Then I peel away all the pith and thin skin, then pull the seeds away from the pith that holds the segments together, so I have a plateful piled up with lovely bright red glowing seeds. (Then I wash my hands, which are all yellow and sticky and covered in bitter juice from the pith. Eugh.)

Then I take my plate of seeds and eat them with a spoon.

See, this is where I'm going wrong as I'm too impatient. I always attack my pomegranates with a pin or my teeth, and end up with a mouthful of that bitter pith stuff.

Obviously I need to do more prep.

It sounds fiddly, but actually it's pretty quick because once you get going, the pomegranate naturally breaks up into the smaller segments, and the segments themselves are pretty easy to break up, too.
