Spent the day arranging furniture yesterday, and all because of some damn fish.
James decided he wanted a larger tank for our tropical fish. We checked out prices and they're expensive, so he was just going to buy one from his friend second hand. It's the same size as the one we have but it meant we could have more fish. Later, looking in the newspaper he saw someone selling a bigger tank, phoned and was told there were two tanks for £30 plus accesories, which is a bargain. So he arranged to buy it. Which is why we spent *all* day rearranging furniture to fit a bigger tank in. i had to move all the bookcases where I keep my videos and pull furniture around until there was a gap to fit the thing in. James went to get the tanks, then phoned me to help carry them from the car to our house when he got back, I went round and my jaw dropped. The tanks are *huge*, two great big tanks. This is on top of the tank we already have and the one he's getting from his friend. The house is full of tanks just now. I think we'll have to sell some of them though, I want to live in a house not an aquarium.
I was knocked out of bed this morning by the postman at 7. Staggered down the stairs and signed for a DVD I'd won at e-bay and just sort of slumped at the bottom of the stairs before starting to get Corey's uniform. Five minutes later I remembered it was Saturday.
I've also caught James' germs. My throat's sore, I've a headache and it feels like someone is sitting on my chest :( So I'm doped on paracetamol and throat lozenges as we have to go out later to get Kayleigh's birthday cards etc. Have to find somewhere that sells naked men birthday cakes, which'll be fun *g*
Now I've a tank to wash. If I don't update again you'll know I fell in and drowned *g*

Heh. Well, _I_ like to think so; too bad none of 'em like me back... Oh, and okay, so I HAVE to buy the thing now, and desperately wait for the day after Thanksgiving so I can listen to it (heh, we Americans have an "official" start to the Christmas season, or at least the shopping season, do you Brits have an equivalent? Mouse/Babycakes, what about France? just curious...) And I already LOVE "Oh Holy Night", one of my most favoritest carols, but did you mean when Chris' vocals _soar_, or do they actually "sour" in an amusing way? lol
Okay, I'm off to write some holiday MX fic now... btw, did you get my email w/ the almost-done 1st part of Omega? I'm still waiting on feedback from you/Jen to finish that up and send it in... ..speaking of which, update /MX, soon, please? :D
And I cracked my head open at work today... ..just shamelessly looking for sympathy points... *g*
Hmmm. I wanna Paid Account LJ for Christmas, lol. I wanna customize mine fully, & this damn limit on how much I can post in a single entry thing REALLY bugs me, 'cuz I talk too much, lol

We don't have Thanksgiving, I don't think Babycakes or Mouse do either, at least not officially.
And yeah, I did mean soar *G* It's one of the words that I always get mixed up. In fact a few weeks ago I posted a drabble that said something about Chris leaving Justin as it was Justin's time to sour in his career. Luckily I caught the mistake after I posted, but it made me lol for ages.
