turpsSpent the day arranging furniture yesterday, and all because of some damn fish.
James decided he wanted a larger tank for our tropical fish. We checked out prices and they're expensive, so he was just going to buy one from his friend second hand. It's the same size as the one we have but it meant we could have more fish. Later, looking in the newspaper he saw someone selling a bigger tank, phoned and was told there were two tanks for £30 plus accesories, which is a bargain. So he arranged to buy it. Which is why we spent *all* day rearranging furniture to fit a bigger tank in. i had to move all the bookcases where I keep my videos and pull furniture around until there was a gap to fit the thing in. James went to get the tanks, then phoned me to help carry them from the car to our house when he got back, I went round and my jaw dropped. The tanks are *huge*, two great big tanks. This is on top of the tank we already have and the one he's getting from his friend. The house is full of tanks just now. I think we'll have to sell some of them though, I want to live in a house not an aquarium.
I was knocked out of bed this morning by the postman at 7. Staggered down the stairs and signed for a DVD I'd won at e-bay and just sort of slumped at the bottom of the stairs before starting to get Corey's uniform. Five minutes later I remembered it was Saturday.
I've also caught James' germs. My throat's sore, I've a headache and it feels like someone is sitting on my chest :( So I'm doped on paracetamol and throat lozenges as we have to go out later to get Kayleigh's birthday cards etc. Have to find somewhere that sells naked men birthday cakes, which'll be fun *g*
Now I've a tank to wash. If I don't update again you'll know I fell in and drowned *g*

lol It's on at 3 today, for me, which is when I get off work. So I'll be home by 3:30 and pacing like a mad thing waiting for 4 o'clock so I can rewind the tape and just bask in the glory of Mutant X...
Hopefully LJ will keep me entertained until almost 4, and then I'll make popcorn... ..or I can always kill time with Chris MahJong...
Terri, I've become a Chris fan! WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?!?! I'm actually contemplating buying the NSync Christmas album, because I worked for Musicland for 2 years (pre-NSync) so between that and 9 Christmas seasons at Toys R Us, I have a low tolerance for traditional Christmas music, at least before December.
*sigh* On the other hand, it gives me lots of new stories to read... *g*

You must tell me what you thought of the first episode. I don't mind spoilers, especially if they're of the Brennan and how hot he looks kind. I suppose you could tell me some plot detail as well if you like *g*
AHAHAH!! Chris mahjong rocks my world! And I'm so happy you've become a Chris fan too. You've great taste in men!
You should buy the album. It really showcases how well they sing. Boybands get a raw deal with people saying they're talentless but when NSYNC sing acapella they make my skin goosebump. I especially love Oh Holy Night when Chris' vocals sour.
There's some awesome NSYNC stories, some crap as well but that's the same in any fandom. That's the only problem I have with MX. The fandom's so small with so few writers. If you read a lot it's inevitable you'll end up in other fandoms. I juggle three, which is fun -- not.
But I'm ready and waiting to gush about the new episode.
EEK, new MX and a new Chris fan. Life is good!

But _Anyway_, Squee! New MX! And I suppose you can permanently swim with the fishies after _ALL_ new MX eps are done, 'cause honestly, the end of MX is the end of the world, right? Right ?

Oh, and okay, so I HAVE to buy the thing now, and desperately wait for the day after Thanksgiving so I can listen to it (heh, we Americans have an "official" start to the Christmas season, or at least the shopping season, do you Brits have an equivalent? Mouse/Babycakes, what about France? just curious...) And I already LOVE "Oh Holy Night", one of my most favoritest carols, but did you mean when Chris' vocals _soar_, or do they actually "sour" in an amusing way? lol
Okay, I'm off to write some holiday MX fic now... btw, did you get my email w/ the almost-done 1st part of Omega? I'm still waiting on feedback from you/Jen to finish that up and send it in... ..speaking of which, update /MX, soon, please? :D

We don't have Thanksgiving, I don't think Babycakes or Mouse do either, at least not officially.
And yeah, I did mean soar *G* It's one of the words that I always get mixed up. In fact a few weeks ago I posted a drabble that said something about Chris leaving Justin as it was Justin's time to sour in his career. Luckily I caught the mistake after I posted, but it made me lol for ages.

And Brennan being tortured is a *good* thing, and an awesome kink to have. Welcome to the dark side where we salivate over pain and misfortune, and *never* feel guilty about doing it.
I hope the show stays dark. I'm also glad that Victor was acting well too, he used to be pretty wooden in some things *cough/Wishmaster/cough* but he can emote with the best of them now.
You nearly made me choke on my coffee talking about Brennan standing back and watching in satisfaction. I can just see him doing that. A typical, if dark Brennan moment.

Fandom should be fun, it's when people lose sight of that problems like flame wars start. Anyway, I like the image of you I'm building up, a skinny artsy guy who squees over hot men. Just perfect :D
And yes, the end of MX would be a tragedy! No more Victor, I would be swimming with my fishies then :(

And you'll see that I didn't drown, 'cos I'm still here ;)

We've too many animals in my opinion. I do love them but they're taking over!
