Had a NSYNC start to the day this morning. Clearing up after breakfast I ended up running back into the living room when I heard Tearing Up My Heart on the tv. It was playing on a new channel called Pop that's bundled with the kids channels. It's unusual for them to be on British tv, never mind one of the earlier songs. Then when I switched to MTV JC was on talking about the best music video artists which was cool. It made up a little for only seeing caps of him of the WRP, talking of which. He sure looked good, and sparkly *g*
Also my pop mail account works! I've been in touch with Linda for what seems the first time in months, in fact it probably is months :(

chootoy's magazine yesterday and today I'm going to buy some dvd's. I want to see if I can put my footage onto DVD, hope so. I also joined the first christmas card exchange today. I know I was moaning about christmas starting too early but I have to sort my cards out in Oct. Gives me a chance to get them written and send abroad in time. And the stamps saved up for, airmail is expensive!

I have to admit I'm totally enjoying the weather right now, but Illinois weather is so goofy that December won't really be much worse, even if it snows tons (which it never does until Dec 26th anyway, grrr...) All the trees changed & dropped their leaves at some point when I wasn't looking; I swear they were just blooming a few weeks ago, right?!?
But anyway, I'm having vague plans about Thanksgiving, 'cause that's a big family holiday, and then it's TOTALLY Christmas time. I wanna buy the NSync disc, & I already bought Jewel's; I think the music is actually one of my favorite parts of the season, despite the fact I hate being subjected to it nonstop at work. Heh. Dichotomous me...
Speaking of work... remember the fan-inflated Santa? He _IS_ on business hours power; he deflates & collapses every night at close, looks like the Wicked Witch doing her "I'm melting, what a world!" bit, lol

Autumn's my favourite season. It's cool and all the leaves are falling, which is so beautiful to see. Kicking through piles of leaves is a great thing to do. Yes I am 5. Why do you ask? *g*
It's a shame we don't have Thanksgiving as it seems a cool holiday. I've started gathering names and addresses for christmas cards, simply because I send a lot abroad. Last year I left it late and spent a fortune on stamps all in one go. So this year I'm going to buy some each week.
I love Christmas music too, though when you're battling hordes of frazzled shoppers and Merry Christmas Everybody comes on again you just want to press the off button. But mostly I love it.
