I was all set to come rant about my ISP and how it's made of fail -- and then read the news about Bob on Twitter. Now I'm just sitting here stunned.

Damn rpf fandoms. Why are they so hard?

ETA: While they are hard I still love my rpf fandoms. I still love MCR and am looking forward to new music and promo, even though it won't be the same without Bob.

I am regretting that I ever allowed myself to be lured away from U2RPS. That is a band that knows how to stick together, dammit.

My mother just suggested I stop listening to music altogether in order not to get my heart broken every time bands break up or people leave. I JUST WANT TO THROW ROCKS AT STUFF TODAY.

This is the first tweet I saw. Damn, but what's happening to all our bands? So after Panic, MCR is another band I won't ever be lucky enough to see "whole".

I wish him luck and whatnot but I also wish they stopped all splitting up *sadface*

Yeah, bands that stick together are a fantastic thing.

No regrets that you were lured away, not on my part anyway. You're a huge part of the fandom for me and as selfish as it is when you're hurting, I can't regret that you were lured.

I really hope that it's a medical issue that's forced him to take this step. That after the break he got back to drumming regularly and knew it wouldn't be good for his wrists. I can't believe that it's anything conflict based. Just the thought of that is sickening.

Yeah, I wish him luck too, and while it sounds horrible to say so, hope it's a split due to medical reasons.

The thought of Sound!Tracking!Bob going solo again is so wrong! If he took the ship Pete would load up a new one and they'd all take off after Bob and get him back where he belongs!

I doubt we'll ever know what happened for sure. Whatever he does I hope Bob's happy, and I'll continue to keep loving the band.

The next few months will be interesting.

I'm shocked, I must admit. MCR was my shiny place and even though Bob isn't my favorite, he was part of the whole. I'm sure the sadness will come with time.

Yes to all this. I'm really sad but most of all I feel terrible for all the people for whom he was favourite. And I hope it doesn't affect the fandom too much!! *hugs*
