(no subject)

I woke up this morning to more snow. Lots of it, it was even piled up on the windows. Now, I know what I think is a lot of snow isn't much to some people, but here it's like the ice age has come again. They shut the main road near my house, traffic is backed up for miles and there've been many crashes already. Thankfully the schools are off for the Easter break, and James is off too, so we'll be staying in today. Well, we will be. Corey is itching to get out.

The new stair life is supposed to be installed today. If the van isn't stuck in a snow drift somewhere, being as it is the ice age and all *g*

Life got a little weird yesterday when Kay went to visit my auntie. This is the Auntie I was talking about a few years ago, the one who I started seeing again but because mam hates her so much it just wasn't worth the hassle. So Kay called in and it's turned into this drama where mam's saying Kay has betrayed her and made her choice and picked someone not her, and just, gah! This was on a day mam hadn't even been drinking. I'm not looking forward to tonight at all.

Also, while Kay was there Auntie Irene asked how I was/what I was doing and Kay turned around and told her I was writing gay porn, which dude. Not cool. Apparently Auntie Irene thought it was funny, said she didn't think I was like that, and said she was going to tell all my cousins. Which, yeah. What gets me is I don't even write porn. Stupid families, one day they're going to drive me insane.

Though, talking of porn. themoononastick is running the The Too Drunk to Fuck porn challenge, and I may have commented with something that's decidedly lame in the porn department, and the messy drunk department too when I think of it. But you guys should go and check out the post, because there's good things there.

I don't know what the heck happened, but I needed to restart my computer, so before I did that I saved the email where I keep the pop_newsletter links. Which I do every time I add something new. Then when I went to get it from drafts it was blank. As of now I have one link *sadface*

Not that it's a disaster, it won't take that long to go back and revisit all the usual places, but still. Fail email. Fail!

The lift man is here right now. It makes me laugh because James has been chatting to him since he arrived. While I would have been holed up out of his way with the door closed. James is just so much more sociable than I am.

Okay, so while I'm here moaning on anyway, I may as well post the ficlet I wrote for the Too Drunk To Fuck Pornomeme that I mentioned in my last post. So here's what happened. James had to take the bil to work this morning so we had to get up at 6. James went and I was alone, and it was snowing, and I saw this porn meme and thought, sod it, and just wrote and posted before I could be embarrassed for myself. So behind the cut is some Mikey/Frank with Gerard looking on.
