We totally slept in this morning. I woke at quarter to eight and Corey needed to be at school for half past. The alarm had been beeping for ages but had wormed itself into my dream ( a very weird thing that started with Camp Sparkle and hanging with [livejournal.com profile] nopseud and ended with me making felt dinosaurs. I don't even know, man )

Thankfully he made it out of the house in time. Once he was gone, as I was sitting all zombiefied with my coffee, I checked twitter and those Ways sure know how to cheer a person up. First Lindsey with her amazing art studio complete with pictures of Gerard and I assume,Bandit and then Mikey giving fodder to Space AUs everywhere. The man drops off the radar for days and then comes back with a bang. I approve.

Yesterday I was talking to my sister and found out she's a new Adam Lambert fan. She's been watching his AI performances on You Tube but knew little about him. I could tell her lots, even though I've only ever seen him sing once on an embedded video. Knowledge via flist, it's an amazing thing.

I need to go grocery shopping now, but before I do so I want to link to two awesome people who're keeping track of bandom offers at [livejournal.com profile] help_hiati [livejournal.com profile] hermitsoul has a list here and [livejournal.com profile] lyo has a list here

Wait. One more thing. Chris announced an EP, Clandestine Operation, over at Nigels11. I was listening to the tracks they have up at MySpace yesterday and I love his voice so much. For people that don't know, Chris is Chris Kirkpatrick, formerly of Nsync -- and that I'm having to say that is weird. He's also funny, hot and all kinds of amazing. If you're put off by the ex boyband tag, don't be. For one thing, boybands rock, for another, Nigels11 don't sound anything like Nsync. So you know, go see and listen. Especially to Who Am I, which remains a song that makes the hairs stand up on the back of my neck.

Last month I wrote Standing on the Grave of Dreams. I got a lovely comment from [livejournal.com profile] kin_you_bi who then followed that up by saying she'd written not!fic about Gerard and Lindsey's first meeting, and would it be okay to post. Of course I said yes because talk about a compliment.

Anyway. I've just came in and read and man. It's exactly how I'd have pictured it. It's my world in her story and I don't have the words to say how much I loved it. I'm pretty much flailing right now.

If you haven't read the main story some elements may not make sense, but even if you haven't, it's a great story about Gerard and Lindsey through Brian's eyes.

So go, read and feed
