I joined

wrisomifu yesterday, a community where you pledge to write at least 10 minutes every day in November. I figure it's what I need to get off my ass and actually get the stories done that need to be done. If you're interested in joining you can do so in this post or this one.

I have a ridiculous amount of fic tabbed at the moment, including the vast majority of the h/c challenge stories. I was looking forward to those so much and haven't had a chance to actually read. It's to cry.

My dad unexpectedly came to visit this afternoon. I hadn't told him what was going on so he wouldn't worry, but my brother let it slip so dad made his way over. It was lovely to see him and actually get a chance to talk as when we're at nanna's he tends to get drowned out. Then not long after he left the FiL arrived for a few hours. When he'd gone I had a nap, because apparently I really am 5 years old right now.

I keep on debating signing up for wrisomifu. It would help me complete my goals for the year, but at the same time, even 10 minutes a day seems daunting. *thinks about it anyway*

I read one or two of the H/C stories that were pretty good. The Brendon/Spencer one where Brendon gets kicked out of his house and then gets sick was awesome.

I think it's a very doable challenge, and from what I've seen no big deal if you can't complete. Plus, the chance to bitch about writing. Which I do to you anyway, but you know. We'd get a wider audience this way *g*

I've had that story tabbed for ages. I want to read! Roll in glorious h/c until it's seeping out of my pores. Much like the blood and sweat of a typical OTT h/c fic \o/

It was such a surprise to see him. Walking is an issue for him these days and it would have been a slog for him to get up the bank but he got here.

You just want me to bitch about writing too! I'm seriously considering it... luckily I have time to decide.

I have to say, I like hearing people bitch about writing, too. It's nice to know it doesn't just flow out effortlessly at all times.

Well, I finished my meds today so that should help. I hope so, I miss writing and reading and actually concentrating on stuff.

It's good naps are for grown ups because I've taken so many lately. I even have a pillow left on the couch for that purpose.
